Our first encounter with Oskar Offermann's music was via his excellent material for Japan's Mule Musiq, a cornerstone of the deep house sound, and what has now become a true staple of our dance diet. However, the dude has put out a whole load of excellent material through his own White imprint, a heft succession of releases which have earned him the deserved attention of many a DJ. This week, though, he's jumped ship and landed on Offenbach's Hardworksoftdrink label, a label hailing from the same town as the legendary Robert Johnson club. In fact, this EP is sublimely diverse in every respect, meandering between subtle swings of electro, and other, dreamier shades of house. If that wasn't enough, it's also all recorded with a blissfully pleasant analogue touch. Wunderbar.
