Music From Memory HollandSome hush-hush, no-nonsense action here from Adam 'Admin' Wickens on a highly limited, info-free white label 12". The Bristol-based producer is in deliciously jazzy deep house mode, crafting two irrepressibly breezy gems out of elements of classic jazz cuts and his own innate musicality. A-side 'Step Into The Light' is particularly good, with Wickens layering a dusty deep house groove with fluid piano motifs, distant horn samples and warming bass. 'Reflect & Heal' is similarly sunny and spiritual in feel, albeit with denser and more energetic percussion, deeper piano chords and some rather lovely clarinet solo action. Simply sumptuous.
