Masked soul crusader Pale Jay returns with his latest record, Low End Love Songs, a self-described "diary in form of song." Likening the coming together of his musical inspirations to the ripening of fruit, Jay says the "entire album came together in just four weeks, a process that was both cathartic and joyful," and with each song bottling a distinct moment in his life, music serving as a means of processing complex and sometimes conflictual emotions. Jay departs from loop-based song structures towards more intricate compositions and ballads here, best among which are the star single 'Easy, Lee' and the currently apt 'Spend More Time With Your Friends'.
