The label hopping endeavours of Polysick continue apace here as the Rome based producer lands on home turf with a full debut for the Minimal Rome label following 2013 releases for audioMER and 100% Silk. Heinrich Dressel's splendid Minimal Rome previously called on Polysick for a contribution to last year's Urbi Et Orbi III compilation and this three track Witness 12" is further testament to his diverse production range. The title track holds court on the A Side, unfurling chaotically into the full blown procession of exploding snares and kicks, harsh analogue tones and strange robotic voices. Sounding quite improvised, it will appeal to fans of recent the Steve Summers material on LIES. On the flip "Rubberband" is much weirder and all the better for it and receives a fine complementary remix from Nation member JTC which veers more towards an analogue electro flex.
