UK sound scientist Rian Treanor returns to Boomkat's The Death Of Rave imprint with a solitary 12", mashing up all sorts of bass-centric dance sounds in an edit format. The Dubplates & Mastering graduate is in a fully explorative vibe here, starting with the stop-start flow of "Saturday Night", an odd rendition of the 90s pop classic, which is followed by the equally floaty samples of "Good News". "Oh Yeh" is much more aggressive in its stance, fluttering its drums and percussion all over the shop, followed by the more ominous drones of the lingering "Don't Go". A Treanor juggernaut.
