Edit maestros Shoes return with four reasons to sling your slippers, flip your flip-flops and exterminate your espadrilles. Shoes are all you need, and each of these four edits reminds us why; Skull Snap's "It's A New Day" is the first under the chop. Emphasising the vocal and down pitching the beat to stoner- level slo-mo, it's an instant killer. "El Bantu" locks Ray Barretto into a cosmic, dubby cell and throws away the key. "Wilderness" takes Manu Dibango on an Afro boogie adventure. And "In The Mood For Dub" takes Jonny Lee Hooker into deep funk space. Four ace reworks: this is a shoe-in.
