Bu-Mako RecordingsJenifa Mayanja has always had a singular vision for her Bu-Mako Recordings imprint. Without shouting about it, Mayanja's label has built up a quietly impressive catalogue of elegant deep house, rich, ultra-deep outings and melodious, dancefloor-friendly groovers. This has always been best heard on the label's occasional Sound Dig Series compilations, which gather together tracks from their growing family of artists. This third instalment continues where its predecessors left off, mixing the rolling deep house jack of Sean Bird, the heady fluidity of Mayanja's own productions, and the metallic throb of Jay Mond, with a range of deliciously glassy-eyed compositions from Wallflower, Introspective and Alison Marks.
