SUED co-founder SVN, real name Sven Rieger, is a mainstay of the German scene. he is also fairly man prolific - since 2020 he has put out a full length, a collection of bubbling house funk and analogue bleeps taken from his archives and now this, a second solo album that finds him taking something of a new approach. The artist has explained he lost his old tape machines and changed other bits of his studio equipment which has given rise to a new sonic era. These are still deep and house tracks, but with a more soft melodic edge, a far-sighted cosmic glare that sinks you into reflective moods. As ever, it's essential.
