Following the untimely death of acid house and electro producer Andreas Gehm last year, there was much discussion about what could be done to support his extended family. The result is this fine tribute, featuring contributions from some of the artists who knew him, or were inspired by the German's hardware-driven productions. Highlights come thick and fast, from Kink's poignant "1st Electric" - a fine combination of twinkling music box melodies, off-kilter drum machine hits and undulating acid lines - and the balls-out intensity of Mark Forshaw's Wink-esque "Further", to the lolloping acid techno of Tsuzing and breakbeat-driven fuzziness of Rivet's "Shards Will Shine".
