It's time for another of Tru Thoughts' excellent cover compilations. The label has long been headed up by the mighty Bonobo and Quantic and has also managed to snap up fine artists such as Hot 8 Brass Band and Alice Russell, Flowdan the grime playa and Zed Bias the garage mainstay. Here it is the likes of musical maverick Mark de Clive-Lowe, Adam Prescott & Deemas J and J-Felix who serve up their own super versions of soul drenched classics. An early standout is the version fo the tune Massive Attack made so famous - 'Be Thankful For What You Got' (feat Sol Goodman) - with its flabby bass and nice chunky drums.
