A very interesting project from Charles Webster and orchestral arranger/Matthew Herbert collaborator Peter Wraight... The original is a beautiful example of contemporary jazz with smouldering vocals, lavish strings and cute muted horns while Pepe Braddock's remixes subvert the original into a jacking mash of metallic synth harmonics and tripped out effects. The acapella isn't just your standard naked vocal either; a cool DJ tool with added complexity, it's a whole new track in itself.
