|2.||"Proper's Woman" (San Proper remix)|
|2.||"Shine On" (Gerd Analog re-work)|
Gallic imprint Fragile slip out their fourth release, proffering a sultry new collaborative project in the shape of Woman, which pair's Parisian lynchpin Terrence: Terry with the elusive and mysterious USH. Their Expansions Of The Standard EP gets off to an excellent start with the eponymous lead track, which makes smart usage of some instantly recognisable Duke vocals amidst a fluid deep house refrain which delights in changing rhythmic emphasis throughout. Amsterdam hero San Proper is called upon to remix the track and he does a grand job, twisting the darker intricacies out, woozily treating the vocals and adding some snap and drunken twilight throb. On the flip "Shine On" is an equally deft vocal house flex from Woman, taking a bass heavy angle which explodes with colour midway through. 4Lux boss Gerd matches his compatriot in the remix stakes with a dizzyingly good Analog rework.
