Marking the second installment on the emerging Soul.On label, Ztrl is himself on a voyage of discovery as he turns out his second vinyl release with a leaning towards the minimal end of the spectrum. "Alive" is bubbling with ethnic percussion and a sparse sound palette that exudes patience and purpose through every bar. "Samsara" breaks away from the more rigid structure of the previous track with a loping construction made up of brittle drums falling in a lackadaisical fashion. Laurine Frost remixes the second track by paring everything down to a measured pulse decorated with the sound of distant voices trapped in the groove that makes for a positively earthy experience compared to the alien liquid of Ztrl's closing effort "Planete Alpha".
