Zorx Electronics 84HP 1U CV Bus Module
Cat: 940211

1U CV Bus is 84HP.
Notes: The Zorx 1U CV Bus is an 84 HP 4 - 1 x 4 or 2 - 1 X 8 buffered mult with attenuation/attenuverting on each output for use with audio and CV signals.

There are four channels, each with four dedicated outputs, separated into groups of four. 4X4X4. Input a signal into any channel and use that channel's outputs to spread the input signal throughout your rig. With outputs spread out in this manner, it inspires creative modulation and patching.

Channel 1's input is normalled into Channel 2's input for use as a 1x8 mult. Likewise, Channel 3's input is normalled into Channel 4's input for use as a 1x8 mult. When nothing is patched into Channels 1 and 3,+5V is fed into each input for use as an offset throughout their respective channels with a peak to peak voltage of -5V to +5V available at each output.

Each output has attenuator/attenuverter potentiometer control. Center position is off - no signal at the output. These outputs are buffered so that with one input you can have four separate and different variations of the input signal at each of its corresponding outputs.

See-thru colour coded LED indicators denote which channel an output belongs to for easy maneuvering during live performance and in dimly lit situations, and there are also numbered dots below each potentiometer that denote that as well.

The Zorx 1U CV Bus uses +12V 90 mA and -12V 90mA, and doesn't need a +5V rail to operate. It has a depth of 27mm. The faceplate is black matte with copper.

The 20 HP Zorx SILENCER 1U CV BUS Expander is also available to buddy up with the 1U CV Bus.

The Zorx 1U SILENCER is a clickless 20 HP 4 channel performance silencing module that lets you manually switch each channel on and off, thereby muting it, with latching or momentarily capabilities. There is also a MIX OUT that sums all of the SILENCER's outputs into a single mono output. A connector cable [included] can be connected from the rear of the Zorx 1U CV Bus to the rear of the SILENCER which will take the last four outputs of the Zorx 1U CV Bus and duplicate them, normalling them to the corresponding inputs of the SILENCER. This normalization can be overridden by patching an input into each channel so that the SILENCER can act on its own or in tandem with the Zorx 1U CV Bus, or a combination of the two. Illuminated numbered dots correspond to the 4 channels of the 1U CV Bus for easy recognition.

The SILENCER can be used as a 4-channel on/off/(on) performance switch, a 4-channel audio or CV mixer, or a combination of the two while having control of which channels you want in the final mix.

The SILENCER consumes +12V 40mA and -12V 40mA and has a depth of 40mm.

Zlob Modular VC F3DB VC Fixed Filter Module With Distortion & Feedback
Zlob Modular VC F3DB VC Fixed Filter Module With Distortion & Feedback (eurorack distortion/dual & stereo/envelope follower/equaliser/filter module)
Cat: 840188 Rel: 11 Aug 21

A 16hp 6-channel VC fixed filter bank, with lots of clipping/distortion and self oscillation/feedback
Notes: VC F3DB stands for Voltage Controlled Fixed Filter Feedback Distortion Bank. The simplest description is it's a 6 band voltage controlled fixed filter bank. But with the additions of so much gain, clipping, feedback, and self-oscillation it becomes a very flexible and unique sound sculpting tool capable of; graphic equalization over 6 octaves, multi-band distortion, spectral processing, crude vocoding, self modulation, and even as an instrument on its own. With no input it can be used as a pseudo chaotic "harmonic" feedback oscillator.

Xaoc Moskwa II 1965 Rotosequencer II Module (B-STOCK)
Xaoc Moskwa II 1965 Rotosequencer II Module (B-STOCK) (eurorack clock generator/quantizer/random/sequencer module)
Cat: 891244 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order***

Updated version of Xaoc's Moskwa sequencer module includes customisable gate/trigger sections, independent randomisation sections, built-in quantiser, slew limiter and preset storage.

Supplier's Notes:
XAOC Devices Moskwa II - compact feature-packed sequencer with preset memory and trigger patterns.

Designed with live performance in mind, Moskwa II takes inspiration from vintage analog sequencers and greatly expands on their functionality surpassing our original Moskwa rotosequencer, while retaining the same size, basic panel structure, and operation principles.

At the core of the module is an 8-step CV sequencer and a parallel 8-step gate/trigger sequencer. But there's more, much more. Besides these basic functions, Moskwa II offers more unique, advanced features like eight independent programmable gate/trigger pattern generators (one for each step of the sequence). You can treat them like sequencers within the sequencer offering another eight microsteps for each main sequence step. This allows for programming complex gate/trigger rhythmic patterns (e.g. step repeat, additional pauses, microshifting or swing effect).

Moskwa II features two independent randomization sections that give the user advanced control over the optional chaotic/random change of various sequence parameters (e.g. step order, slew and trigger probability and more). A programmable custom trigger sequence can be up to 256 steps long! Topping it all off, Moskwa II can store eight presets to be loaded at any time. All these functions allow Moskwa II to generate sequences much longer and much more complex than those produced by traditional 8-step sequencers.

Compared to the first Moskwa, Xaoc have also added a transport button for manual starting/stopping of the sequence, range control for CV output, and a flexible quantizer. Two Moskwa II units can be joined for chained operation doubling the number of available steps and preset slots. Ostankino II expander adds CV inputs for many Moskwa II functions, as well as a transpose input, clock out and individual gate/bit outputs for each step.

Another cracker from Xaoc, the Timiszoara is a take on digital multi-effects with stereo in and out, an intuitive interface and CV control of effect parameters. Big power with 176 factory programs.

Supplier's Notes:
Timiszoara is a stereo, Eurorack compatible, voltage-controlled multi-effect signal processor based on the popular Spin Semiconductor FV-1 DSP chip. It features a full stereo signal path with two adjustable audio inputs, two outputs, and a stereo voltage-controlled wet/dry mixer. In addition, there is a microSD memory card slot on the front panel that allows for loading factory and custom effects without any restrictions or copyright protection, which means you can use many effects available on the Internet and even create your own.

Effect programs are organized in banks of 8 and can be selected using a rotary encoder, as well as CV and trigger signals. Timiszoara features a crisp OLED screen that displays the program parameters and its name. It also facilitates navigating the list of banks. Up to three parameters per effect can be controlled from the front panel with illuminated slider potentiometers and dedicated CV inputs.

Xaoc Devices have prepared quite a few banks of algorithms (176 in total) that cover most effects needs: delays, reverbs, filters, modulation effects (such as choruses and flangers), pitch shifters, and, of course, shimmers (no multi-effects unit would be complete without its share of those). However, Xaoc Devices wanted to ensure that users had access to some more adventurous programs, so some special banks have been created to allow you to take a walk on the wild side.

For detailed description, please refer to the manual.

Xaoc Devices Sofia 1955 Transcendent Waveform Analogue Oscillator Module (silver) (B-STOCK)

B-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order***

A big deal even by Xaoc's prolific and eclectic standards. Fully analogue VCO based on the none-more-old-school fonction d'onde formantique, implemented with extensive CV control. Transcendent waveforms indeed.

Supplier's Notes:
Sofia is a fully analogue voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) based on an original waveforming principle. It features a modern, well-calibrated, temperature compensated triangle core and two elaborate waveshaping and modulating sections. The sound is a mixture of a warm, saturated base tone and two ripple components. Besides its main output, Sofia offers access to individual components of the sound plus a multitude of modulation inputs allowing for extensive self-patching and animation of the waveform. To better understand the device, it is strongly advised to read through the entire manual before using the module.

Sofia implements and extends the classic computer music method for synthesis of formant sounds called FOF (fonction d'onde formantique), which uses a combination of simple, time-domain components (decaying sinusoidal waves) to achieve desired spectral characteristics.

In Sofia, two of such ripple elements are added on top of a slightly saturated sinusoidal base tone. Each new cycle of the base tone spawns a new pair of ripple elements. The ripples' density and decay rate may be adjusted over a wide range. Additionally, the elements may be warped so that their density accelerates or decelerates within the cycle. Finally, their basic waveform may be switched from sine-like to square-like for additional richness.

Despite the seemingly divergent frequencies present in the signal, it remains strictly harmonic due to how all elements are waveshaped from the core tone and therefore phase coherent. Thus, Sofia is not a complex oscillator in the Buchla sense; however, it goes beyond the traditional set of primary waves and wavetables, hence the name.

Analogue VCO with complex waveforms
Extended FOF synthesis
3 frequency control inputs
8 parameter control inputs
6 signal outputs

24hp, 30mm deep
Current draw: +90mA/-80mA

Xaoc Devices Praga 1967 Voltage Controlled Mixing Console Module (silver)
Xaoc Devices Praga 1967 Voltage Controlled Mixing Console Module (silver) (mixer/panning/VCA/dual/stereo/quad synth module)
Cat: 655355 Rel: 29 Jun 17

Voltage controlled four channel stereo mixer module
Notes: The module is built around high quality VCA chips from THAT Corp, as well as low noise opamps. It offers clickless muting and equal loudness panning. The distinct feature is that voltage control is dynamically compressed should it yield clipping when pushed too hard. Also, in both modes the attenuators offer full closing of the corresponding channel, regardless of being controlled by the CV, or not. The VCAs fully open (0dB gain) at CV=8V in Env mode and CV=5V in LFO mode. All the input and output signal levels are Eurorack levels.

Multiple Praga units can be chained thanks to dedicated headers on the back. The mixed stereo sum of each unit in the chain is added to the mixing bus of all units downstream.

A dedicated Hrad expander will offer master volume control, gate inputs for channels muting/unmuting, headphone amplifier, and voltage control over aux sends.

B-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order***

Very nicely designed mixer module. Four-channel stereo design with CV control of balance and volume, aux sends and extensive chaining options, including the optional Bohumin expander module.

Supplier's Notes:
Ostrawa is a full stereo four-channel voltage controlled mixer featuring a stereo mixing bus, one stereo auxiliary send per channel (switchable between pre and post VCA) with stereo returns, clickless muting, individual level meters, and a super-clean and DC-coupled signal path designed with high-quality VCA and opamp chips.

Xaoc Devices have carefully crafted Ostrawa's voltage control response to achieve what we believe to be the optimal user experience found in a Eurorack mixer. The design features an elaborate control circuit that combines the internal voltages generated by the panel potentiometers with external CV over volume and stereo balance. The result is a natural attenuator response that constrains VCA gain to a usable range while minimizing distortion.

Ostrawa is a sister module to Xaoc devices Praga. It features a very similar response characteristics and similar layout of controls with some functional differences resulting from stereo inputs and limited panel space. Multiple Ostrawa and Praga units may be chained for a custom configurable mixing system. An expander called Bohumin is also available.

Xaoc Devices Odessa 1975 Variable Spectrum Harmonic Cluster Oscillator Module (B-STOCK)
Cat: 1003059 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.***

Additive synthesis oscillator based on the concept of building up harmonics from sine waves. A complex idea nicely executed for ease of use.

Suppliers notes:
Odessa implements the principle of additive synthesis controlled by a set of carefully tailored macro parameters to harness thousands of sinusoidal partials that altogether form the resulting sound.

The interface is kept simple and accessible, so you can easily build rich and full, great sounding timbres of very complex spectra, that can be either harmonic or inharmonic. Even though inharmonic spectra yield non-periodic waveforms, all partials are frequency related to the common fundamental controlled by a V/oct input. The series of harmonics can be squeezed or spread apart, tilt, and pruned by a comb-like frequency response, resulting in a variety of unearthy sounds. Animating the comb response yields radical effects similar to flanging and phasing. Additional, often sought after features are implemented: through-zero linear frequency modulation, and unison detune: up to 5 copies of the sound can be spread apart for a fat and dense cluster of voices.

There are nine parameters, each controlled by a dedicated knob, so the workflow is as smooth and immediate as possible. Furthermore, every parameter has a dedicated CV input, allowing live animation for organic audio effects. Odessa sports two main outputs for banks of harmonic partials that can be further scaled in frequency, as well as an additional output that can either spit out a square wave or a single sinusoid of the fundamental frequency. Interesting spatial effects, crazy modulation feedbacks as well as synchronisation is possible that way.

The hardware is based on a powerful FPGA chip offering massive parallel computing. The synthesized signal is devoid of aliasing through the entire audio range thanks to intrinsically bandlimited algorithm. A simplified spectral analyser helps you to keep a visual track of what is actually happening to the harmonics.

For even more control over Odessa, you can use the Leibniz subsystem (or just the Lipsk) that can be connected to a header at the back of the module.

Xaoc Devices Koszalin 1964 Stereo VC Frequency Shifter Module
Cat: 880020 Rel: 08 Jul 22

Koszalin is a full stereo frequency shifter (2 ins / 4 outs) offering both quasi-exponential and linear frequency change of up to +/-5kHz as well as full stereo feedback under voltage control.
Notes: Gorgeous stereo implementation of the classic frequency shifter sound, moving from tonal harmonics to atonal disharmony effortlessly. Separate outputs for down and up shifts, plus plenty of CV control.

Supplier's Notes:
Koszalin is a full stereo frequency shifter with two inputs and four outputs. If offers simultaneous exponential and linear through-zero control of the amount of frequency shift in 3 carefully scaled ranges (up to +/- 5kHz). Frequency shifting results in linear translation of signal spectrum producing all kinds of atonal sounds. It should not be confused with frequency scaling, also known as pitch shifting. Several stereo feedback topologies are offered with additional density control besides feedback depth, which results in spectacular stereo barberpole effects.

Through-zero modulation allows for using Koszalin's input as an FM operator. Koszalin is a digital module with a DSP behind an analog interface.

Main features:

full stereo frequency shifting
3 shift ranges: +/- 50Hz / 500Hz / 5kHz
exponential and linear through-zero inputs
internal feedback under voltage control.

First off, this oscilator means precision. Built-in digital calibration means once you tune, you'll stay in tune. The tune knob can be switched between a fine and coarse mode, and can be locked out to protect against unintentional movement during a performance. It also features octave switches for quick movement between registers.

Power in pairs. Legion is great on it's own but thrives when it has a twin sibling in the case. Thru-zero linear FM keeps your fundamental in-tact while modulating it with another oscillator and onboard attenuator lets you dial in the amount. Stay in-tune while adding harmonic content with the classic technique. Thru-zero FM also works well with the saw wave output, adding more colors to your sonic palette.

A separate exponential FM input with correlating attenuator allows for simultaneous "wobble" or could be used for more traditional FM effects, when that is desired and the easy tuning makes for lush. consistent FM sounds in a flash.

The Alpha in the pack. In addition to the traditional waveforms commonly found in analog oscillators, Legion has a unique saw wave section. Inspired by the oscillator in the Alpha Juno synthesizer, we've added what we call "windows" to the saw wave output. A window is essentially a negative pulse in the center of the saw wave, creating an overtone to the classic waveforms sound. Use the switch to add more windows, creating a more complex high end. Then, use pulse-width modulation to really bring this effect to life by increasing and decreasing the size of the windows with an external CV source such as an LFO. This effect really adds teeth to the waveform.

In addition to the above, Legion also has an output called Swarm, which is essentially an analog supersaw. For this output, we start with a saw wave and then use seven DAC LFOs to modulate the phase of multiple reset points within the original. What this does is create the illusion of multiple saws being stacked on top of eachother, slightly going in and out of tune with each other. Control the intensity of the unison effect with the detune knob, and switch on up to seven LFOs with the Timbre switch for a powerful, detuned supersaw effect that remains 100% analog.

Legion also hosts a sub-oscillator with switchable octave and Saw, Triangle, Square, and PW waveforms, a first in Eurorack in that it also fully reacts to Thru-Zero FM! A Thru-Zero sub oscillator that's not just a square wave.

The oscillator was designed around the SSI2130 TZFM oscillator chip, with a ton of WMD designed peripherals, waveshapers, digital control, etc. We found that all the extra stuff used a ton of power, so this took some serious engineering work on the internal power supplies. The result is a module that uses very little power and thus stays cool and consistent in temperature, meaning that it's incredibly stable for tuning. Far better than any other oscillator we've designed, and we're well known for stable oscillators. The downside is that these power supply parts and special opamps are entirely unavailable due to the world wide semiconductor shortage. We secured enough parts for 600 Legions, and that's it. Get it while you can, there isn't another run planned.

WMDevices Fracture Multi-Particle Crowd Percussion Synthesiser Module (black)
Cat: 747621 Rel: 20 Sep 19

8HP drum/percussion synth module
Notes: Originally inspired by audience applause, hip-hop samples, and classic drum machines, Fracture is a multi-particle percussion synthesizer that applies concepts from classic analogue clap circuits to granular synthesis methods.

It all starts from proprietary micro-samples we recorded specifically for this purpose and ends with an engine built to suit these samples.
Unlike our other percussion module, the Chimera which uses impulse rich samples as it's tonal centre, Fracture uses single impulse samples like Claps, Snaps, Ping Pong Balls, Opening a beer can, and many more. It then plays a group of similar samples back in a psuedo random order for unique hits. Density, Decay, and Tail affect tone and how "tight" your virtual clappers are to playing together.

Our goal was to design a clap percussion module covering the range from classic drum machine claps all the way to full audience applause. We ended up with a module that covers a huge range of timbres beyond claps. We hope this engine provides you with the tools to intuitively create wild percussion sounds that bring your system to life in a new way.

WMDevices Crater Analogue & Digital Hybrid Bass Drum Module (black)
Cat: 759362 Rel: 30 Dec 19

Eurorack bass drum module - 8HP
Notes: Best of both worlds, Crater is an analogue/digital hybrid bass drum that plays as hard as it kicks.

The analogue side is where crater gets its tone and its power.

Like a 909 style kick drum, Crater's analogue section features a pitch envelope that ranges from snappy attacks, to laser sounds, to disco toms. 1 volt per octave tracking and an amplitude envelope that allows users to use Crater for classic 808 style hip hop bass lines as well as rolling techno kicks. Speaking of rolling bass, Crater has a new feature we have yet to see on a dedicated kick drum module, which is the Sustain stage. The sustain knob lets you dial in a sustain level that Crater will stay at as long as the gate is high. Inspired by using samplers in "gate mode", the sustain circuit lets you use gate length to sequence different kick lengths, while keeping your decay setting constant. This is perfect for getting multiple sounds from of one module.

The Digital side is where we feel Crater really becomes unique and ultra-useful in a live performance Eurorack system.

The "secret sauce" of kick drums is usually found in layering different sounds to create a drum that cuts through the mix in the high frequencies, while remaining powerful in the lows. Many kicks you hear in dance music tracks are samples made from layering two or more sounds and we wanted to achieve this level of polished sound with our kick. So, what we did was add in a digital section for the Attack side of the kick drum. The Timbre knob lets you dial in different attack sounds we've created, inspired by classic drum machines, music we like, and sample packs we've used in the past. The "Body" knob shapes the attack while adding a bit of delayed noise which simulates things in the room being affected by the kick such as loose lugs or a snare drum rattling nearby. This gives the kick more of a natural and acoustic feel to the sound.

WMD Synchrodyne Voltage Controlled Oscillator/Phase Locked Loop/Switched Capacitor Filter Module (silver)
Cat: 580288 Rel: 03 Aug 15

Multi-part, multi-use eurorack synth module for the creation & manipulation of audio - 14HP wide
Notes: Introducing the WMD Synchrodyne, a multi part and multi use eurorack module for the creation and manipulation of audio. Containing several pieces to a traditional synthesizer voice, the Synchrodyne is a powerful addition to any subtractive oriented system. However, it is designed primarily as an experimental sound source/filter, intended to push the limits of modular synthesis...WMD style. The Synchrodyne now has an expansion.

The Synchrodyne is designed as a way to implement a switched capacitor filter (SCF) chip without the use of a microcontroller to run the clock. We developed a fast analog VCO that can drive the SCF with a broad range of frequency control. The problem with this would be that the VCO is then dedicated to only running the filter. So we designed a frequency multiplier based around a Phase Locked Loop IC (PLL) to take the VCO and multiply its frequency up so that the VCO could be used as an audio source, while still controlling the filter. The SCF has a frequency ratio of 50:1 or 100:1 clock frequency to output cutoff frequency. The PLL allows for many ratios of input to output frequencies to be selected, making the VCO a simultaneous audio and control source.

The PLL introduced its own challenges. Taming the PLL to stabilize at high multiplication ratios required us to develop a damping circuit. The Damping and Track Speed controls cause the PLL to have its own sound, sort of a slew limiter and self Frequency Modulation. We wanted the Synchrodyne to distort nicely with audio input, and also to self-oscillate. We added single stage rectifiers to the -12dB and -24dB filter outputs for a more aggressive sound. We opted to develop a VCA and wavefolder for the front end of the filter to further expand the palate of distortion and processing of the Synchrodyne. We had more features to add, but space was limited and we didn't want to make an excessively expensive module, so we added two 14pin expansion headers for future development.

WMD Synchrodyne Expand Module
Cat: 580289 Rel: 03 Aug 15

Synth module for expanding functionality of the WMD Synchrodyne module - 22HP wide
Notes: This is the WMD Synchrodyne Expand, we went a little crazy with it. But we figured that if you can grasp the original, you're the type that always wants to go deeper. So lets take this plunge together as we attempt to explain what it all means.

The Synchrodyne by itself is capable of a great deal, containing several modules in one, prepatched internally to create a vibrant range of sounds. It was difficult to cut many of the control capabilities from the Synchrodyne to keep it within the scope of an analog switched-capacitor filter module. The expand lets us bring many of the little nuances of the Synchrodyne to the patchable world.

It is designed to be powerful and extremely dynamic when minimally patched, but when patch cords start flying around to be open and experimental. You may also use many of the parts of the Synchrodyne and Expand separately in various parts of your patches. The open architecture allows it to do many jobs, even small ones.

WMD PDO MKII Phase Displacement Oscillator Module
Cat: 580280 Rel: 29 Jul 15

Phase Displacement Oscillator (PDO) synth module with analog sawcore VCO - 16HP wide
Notes: The MKII version of the PDO is available: Better CV handling, 16 HP, single PCB instead of stacked boards. An upgrade path is available for those with MKI versions, contact us for more information.

Introducing the WMD Phase Displacement Oscillator (PDO). This hybrid VCO has all the feel of an analog VCO but with the benefits of digital waveshaping. The PDO will easily find a home in your system!

The PDO exists to utilize the phenomenon of Phase Modulation (PM). This allows for the relative phase difference of its outputs to be set or modulated, producing very interesting sounds. The result is similar to Frequency Modulation (FM) but affects the output to a greater degree without affecting the stability of the initial frequency. This is where the "displacement" comes in.

When you use frequency stable phase displacement, you create phase distortion which sounds like wavefolding and is very useful for dynamic textures and powerful sounds.

PM has the same benefits of quadrature filters/sine wave generators and greatly exceeds their capabilities at audio rate modulations. PM is highly useful for for creating metallic and bell tones and very controlled harmonic interactions.

Because PM affects the relative phase and not the frequency of the waveform generated, the PDO can self modulate its PM inputs. This creates complex harmonic signals that seem to vary in frequency but are quite stable.

Phase Modulation is also quite powerful when using the PDO as an LFO. Adjusting the relative phase of each output allows for very precise modulation of other modules. Each output can have any of the available waveforms simultaneously. There is a myriad of modulation possible with the PDO!

Vermona TwinVCFilter Dual Multimode Filter Module
Vermona TwinVCFilter Dual Multimode Filter Module (filter/mixer/dual/stereo synth module)
Cat: 662842 Rel: 18 Sep 17

Dual filter module with flexible routing & excellent audio properties - 24HP
Notes: There is almost no modular system without at least one filter-module. You can look at them as the stars within the giant Eurorack-jungle. twinVCFilter is such a star as well. A dual filter module with flexible routing and excellent audio properties. It covers a huge range of different applications without the slightest effort.

Features and Routing:

Each filter section of twinVCFilter works as low- or highpass-filter with a slope of 12 dB/octave or as bandpass-filter with 6 db/octave. Signals can be directed in three ways through the module:

- Serial: The incoming signal passes both filter sections in a row.
- Dual: The filter sections act completely separated of each other. As if they were two individual filter modules.
- Parallel: The incoming signal passes both filters at the same time.

With these routings you can i.e. generate bandpasses or notches with variable slopes and different resonance settings or doubling the filter's slope. These are the more obvious combinations but there is a lot more to discover.

The convenient link-feature allows to couple cutoff- and resonance of both filter sections for straightforward stereo use in dual mode.

Mix section:

The flexible signal-routing is supplemented by the mix-section. Here you can crossfade both filter sections manually or by control voltages. Seamless movements from low- to highpass-filter, is as easy as crossfading from half to doubled slope. Of course you can mix two completely individual signals or toggle between them by using a rectangle-LFO-modulation.

Resonance:

Resonance is a key factor in the context of sound-shaping and sound-generation using a filter. Therefore we carefully trimmed twinVCFilter's resonance to be as musically and stable as possible. You can apply subtle frequency-dependent emphasis to signals and tear them up to self-oscillation. The latter generates a solid sine-wave which is an excellent base for percussive sounds. Possible cross-modulations significantly enhance the sound-generator features. By the way: If you are missing a vibrato-LFO in a patch, twinVCFilter can do the job.

twinVCFilter offers a huge set of features to form impressive soundscapes. It can take subtle influence to signals or massively truncate frequencies. It leaves nothing to be desired. Despite, for those who need additional possibilities we especially designed the tVCF-Extension module.

Vermona twinCussion+ Dual Percussion Voice Module (drum/dual/stereo/envelope generator/noise/oscillator synth module)
Cat: 624960 Rel: 08 Sep 16

A duophonic percussion/drum module which offers you two individual, almost identical voices.
Notes: A duophonic percussion/drum module which offers you two individual, almost identical voices. Each of them has an oscillator with selectable waveforms as well as an attack-decay envelope which simultaneously can modulate the pitch and the VCA.

A large number of sockets is available which not only are used for modulating and triggering the drums but also emit any oscillator waveform and envelopes. That is utterly useful!

The first difference between both voices are the available waveforms: voice A offers square, triangle and sine, while voice B has noise, square and sine. For atonal noisy sounds like hi hats and anything cymbal voice B is more suitable.
The wave forms are switch selectable and simultaneosuly available at individual outputs i.e. you can process the audio signals exernally. Using the module's EG CV outputs plus two external VCAs you can re-create or alter the signal flow. Envelope signals and audio sources are available!

For controlling the frequency there's a hi/lo switch alternating between bass and treble, then a tune control and a modulation attenuator which scales either the envelope or a nexternal CV. besides individual inputs (A VCO and B VCO) there's also a common CV input VCO A+B which addresses both voices simultaneosuly. A VCO is normalized to the VC CV input A VCA, analogical for channel B.

The second difference is in the envelopes. Voice A has an attack-decay envelope generator with manually adjustable times. Voice B has a decay envelope with fixes attack time but with voltage control of decay time via EG 2 input and the CV EG2 attenuator.
The envelope generators are able to modulate not only the pitch but simultaneously also the level. For that reason there's an second attenuator which altternately detemines the intensity of an external CV (see above).

Each voice has an individual audio output, although OUT B works as a mix output when no cable is plugged to OUT A.

*essentially two things have changed in the + version:
-the output levels of the MIX outputs have been increased
-the frequency of the filter for noise can now also be controlled via CV

Power consumption: 105mA at +12 V and 70mA at -12 V

Vermona fourMulator Quad Digital LFO Module (black)
Vermona fourMulator Quad Digital LFO Module (black) (LFO/clock generator/quad synth module)
Cat: 553426 Rel: 15 May 15

Quad modulation engine synth module with internal clock generator
Notes: fourMulator is a digital quad LFO-module for euro rack compatible modular synthesizer and sound processing systems. Due to its ability to synchronize the modulators (LFOs) to each other or to an overall clock-reference, fourMulator is capable generating complex and rhythmic modulation structures.

Modulators (LFOs)

Each modulator offers six wave forms: ascending and descending saw tooth, square, triangle, sine and random (sample & hold) with a frequency range between 0.05Hz (20 seconds) to approx. 100Hz. Each modulator offers wave form and trigger outputs, the latter sending an impulse with every new start of the selected wave form. Reset- and CV-inputs allow external parameter manipulation - from other modules or from other modulators of the fourMulator itself.

Synchronization

All four modulators work independently. However, they can be synchronized with each other. Each modulator can be individually synchronized to the left neighboring module or to a clock-reference.

Two or more synchronized modulators always oscillate at the same frequency. However, a synchronized modulator can be phase-shifted by up to 180° (a half-cycle) to the clock-reference. This allows easy creation of counter-rotating modulations. More complex modulations can be achieved using the CV-input to manipulate phase-shift.

With active clock-synchronization, the corresponding modulators oscillate in reference to a common clock-signal, but use individual clock-dividing factors. Again, advanced possibilities result from being able to manipulate clock-division through the modules' CV-inputs.

Both forms of synchronization can be combined. With one modulator being synchronized to a clock signal, it may as well serve as reference to the right neighboring modulator.

CLOCK Generator (CLK)

fourMulator integrates an internal clock generator. Its tempo can be assigned using a tap-tempo-button or by using an external clock-reference.

Cat: 700724 Rel: 07 Sep 18

Stereo mixer & scanner module with VC panning & scan center/width - 14HP
Notes: In a minuscule amount of space, the Scan & Pan provides a 4 channel mixer with voltage control of level and panning. Its signal path is all discrete transistors.

Each channel has a mono input and a gain control. The level can be set manually with a fader and modulated by a CV. Furthermore there's a panning function with a manual potentiometer for determinig the channel's panorama position and a CV input for modulating it.

In the dark highlighted, right part of the module we find the L and R outputs as well as the scanning function:
The "Center" parameter is used for selecting a channel, while "width" also selects the adjacent channels.
For instance if channel 2 was selected with center control and remain static, it is possible to fade in and out channels 1 and 3 (or even 4).
It can be interesting to use this function with different waveforms of an oscillator but also with totally different signals. It can be even more exciting if the channels have different panorama positions which means the channels which are faded in appear in different stereo field positions.

In addition to outputs for the Square and Triangle waves directly from the core, there is a brand new multiplying waveshaper giving the effect of a VCO in hard sync with the core. Furthermore, there are three outputs that fade between Sine and Saw, Square and Spike (a Buchla Music Easel classic).

In other words, there is a "Richness" control that multiplies the Saw, Square and Pulse and a Timbre control that fades from Sine and the richer multiplied waveforms.

Verbos Electronics Amp & Tone Amplitude & Tone Controller Module
Cat: 760208 Rel: 15 Jan 20

10HP amp & tone module
Notes: This is a new version of our old favorite.

Verbos has taken the functions of the Amp & Tone module into a smaller 10HP package and shortened the name to what we have always called it. For those who don't know, the module is a Sallen-Key lowpass filter followed by a VCA.

The signal path is still all discrete, but now the filter is also made from transistors. The sound shaping possibilities remain, including a balance of distortion from the input stage or the filter as well as simultaneous linear and exponential control of the VCA.

TouellSkouarn Sonveskan Germanium Preamp Feedbacker & Mixer Module TouellSkouarn Sonveskan Germanium Preamp Feedbacker & Mixer Module TouellSkouarn Sonveskan Germanium Preamp Feedbacker & Mixer Module
Cat: 642582 Rel: 20 Mar 17

3-channel mixer module featuring dual gain stage, voltage controlled feedback, mute & direct outputs per channel
Notes: The TouellSkouarn Sonveskan is a three-channel mixer, which features a dual gain stage, voltage controlled feedback, mute and direct outputs per channel.

The Sonevskan uses germanium transistors for the amplification, fans of distortion and feedback will be very pleased with this module.

Each channel has a signal input with a level control which for sure adds some germanium transistor distortion. De facto the signal passes not one but two gain stages. The gain for the second one can be adjusted to your desires by a trimmer on the circuit board. The pre-amplified signal is available at an unbuffered direct output.

Below the gain control there's a control which determines the amount of feedback, or if a feedback CV is used it acts as a modulation amount controller. The feedback can be switched off immediately with a switch and another switch mutes the channel.
Because of the direct outputs you can use each channel as an individual distortion/preamp.

The three channels are mixed and then are processed by an EQ featuring potentiometers for low and high frequencies. The processed signal is available at the mix output.

TouellSkouarn Skorn Da Bask Drone & Abstract Rhythm Generator Module TouellSkouarn Skorn Da Bask Drone & Abstract Rhythm Generator Module TouellSkouarn Skorn Da Bask Drone & Abstract Rhythm Generator Module
Cat: 642578 Rel: 20 Mar 17

Drone, filter & abstract rhythm generator module - 16HP
Notes: Three sawtooth VCOs/LFOs can be used as tone generators and modulation source for the cut-off frequency of a resonating low pass filter.

Processing external audio signals is possible, these can also be modulated with the three VCOs at the same time.

While the three oscillators cannot be controlled with 1V/oct, there is still CV input which makes is possible to evolving textures and rhythms.
Via the left switch the oscillators can be routed to modulate the filter, the right switch selects a frequency range (Hi/Lo), the potentiometer sets the frequency/"tuning".

The filter of the TouellSkouarn Skorn da Bask is a very nice dirty sounding 24dB low pass filter with resonance that can also be used without the three oscillators via the external input.

The Skorn da Bask is great for creating chaos and random textures, slowly changing drones and abstract rhythms.

Tiptop Audio Z-DSP VC Digital Signal Processor 24 Bit/Variable Clock Module (white)
Cat: 688915 Rel: 25 Jun 18

Open-source, cartridge-based, digital sound processing & generating platform
Notes: Tiptop Audio's Z-DSP is a cartridge-based open source digital sound processing and effects generating platform for your modular synthesizer. Lush audio processing, greater stereo depth and a unique set of digital synthesis is what the Z-DSP is all about.

The Z-DSP has a stereo digital sound processor with 24-bit sampling, 15kHz of bandwidth, voltage-controlled parameters of stereo feedback, program switching, DSP parameters, equal power crossfading dry/wet mixing, as well as sequential program control switching and a clear display - all in Eurorack format. A dedicated clocking input for the DSP chip does wonders to passing sound by bending the algorithms in an unexpected way, a hardware technique computer plugins can't do and is unique to the Z-DSP.

In a recent update, the Z-DSP (NS) got an all new design of its analogue circuitry, contributing to a lower noise signal path, clearer sound of the entire frequency range, lower distortion and better immunity to noise emitted by other modules sharing the same power supply. A new analogue dry/wet circuit has been implemented to remove the 3db gain drop when the mix knob passes through the centre of the dial making the use of this function more practical in a live application. A reverse polarity protection has been added as well. The new front-panel matches Tiptop's colourful design, and a single printed circuit board and surface mount technology improve reliability during production and use. The powerful Z-DSP engine remains the same as the original Z-DSP module and all cards are compatible across both versions.

An assortment of interchangeable cards, programmed by Tiptop Audio and specialists like Valhalla DSP, provide a wide range of boutique effects algorithms such as Halls of Valhalla, Time Fabric, Clocked Delays and Grain De Folie. Tiptop Audio also offers blank Z-DSP cartridges and a development tool called NumberZ for developers, students and power users who want to design their own effects and cards with the FV-1 DSP chip programming language. Blank cards can be loaded using programs that are freely available for non-commercial use and can be found in the modular community through online forums. With each card swap, the Z-DSP takes on new effect algorithms, changing like a digital chameleon and bringing colourful digital effects processing to your Eurorack setup.

The Z-DSP comes included with 2 cards: Halls of Valhalla and Dragonfly Delay MKII.

Tiptop Audio Trigger Riot Sequencer Module (black) (B-STOCK)
Cat: 879324 Rel: 28 Jul 20

B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order***

Brilliantly powerful trigger module, capable of acting as a master clock and a sequencer, generating gate signals and pulses. Good hands-on control options for live performances.

Supplier's Notes:

The Trigger Riot is a multipurpose trigger module that makes ultra complex patterns of gates triggers and clock pulses. The Riot covers a lot of ground in any Eurorack system from the master clocking for your entire system to algorithmic generation of pulses for envelopes, step sequencers, drums and accents that can venture into highly complex territory driven by simple yet powerful logic and algebra with a dash of pseudo randomness for some unpredictable results.

The user interface allows a great deal of control over pulses with each knob acting as a clock divider, clock multiplier, step injector, time shifter, clock shifter, pulse-width modulator, and an arithmetic probability processor. Now take that control and multiply it by 16 and feed it into 8 outputs for maximum Trigger Riot madness!

Furthermore the interface features a master clock knob, push switches to mute unmute and select rows, and multiple switches to configure, adjust, create loops and save your work for later recall from memory banks.

Trigger Riot integrates nicely in the studio with non-volatile memory, generous synchronization options with external gear including sample accurate sync with DAWs, smart synchronization to other Tiptop modules using SyncBus, and DIN Sync for vintage gear. A precise internal tempo clock generator with tap tempo and BeatSync to manage precise changes round out the features.

The warmth of the classic, all-analog, punchy tom-toms from the TR-909 drum machine.
Notes: Introducing the TOMS909, the warmth of the classic, all-analogue, punchy tom-toms from the TR-909 drum machine. The TOMS909 contains all three of the TR-909's original LOW, MID and HIGH tom-tom circuits adapted for use in the modular format. The module was designed to sound like a fresh machine coming off the assembly line back in the 80's. To add flavour to the beast, Tiptop Audio have extended each tom's tuning range so it's easier to dial soft bass drums on the low end and high-pitched toms on the other.

The toms circuitry is made up of 9 triangle oscillators and a stack of filters, VCAs, and envelopes which, in total, took about half of the space on the original 909's circuit board. Utilizing the latest in electronic design technology, Tiptop Audio have managed to squeeze this enormous circuit, consisting of more than 450 components, into an area only 16HP wide. It is a beautiful board with hundreds of tiny, shiny components: it's a little analogue jewel.

Each tom includes a trigger and accent input with accent level control, manual tune, voltage-control tune input with attenuator and independent audio out. In addition, a MIX out is available that sums all three toms together as well as access to the MIXZ MixBus on the back. On each gate input, a dual pulse-shaper circuit has been designed so you can trigger your TOMS909 with trigger/gate signals from sequencers or any other pulse/clock sources.
