Notes: The new Preamp Model X comes loaded with a host of new features that make it easy to customize your digital preamp and cab setup. Where the Preamp Model X excels compared to previous Mooer preamp pedals is in the user interface and digital editor software. The expanded footswitch layout of the X2 gives users two settings to choose from: one for preset scrolling and one for A/B channel switching. This allows users to quickly cycle through presets at just a tap of the foot. The editor software is free and can be downloaded from Mooer's website (www.mooeraudio.com) and allows users the comfort of a desktop interface when customizing and tweaking presets, loading third-party impulse response files, or updating the Model X2's firmware.

The Preamp Model X has been specifically designed to be compatible with files created using Mooer's MNRS sampling technology. Simply download these files from Mooer Studio (www.mooerstudio.com) and load them into your Model X2 using the editor software. The Model X2 is also compatible with Mooer's GIR/GNR cab sim files as well as other major third-party impulse response filetypes.

Solid Gold FX's classic Beta bass architecture has been reworked and expanded, delivering a wider range of tones. The low-pass filter now has 2 settings for bumped or scooped-mids as well as a centre bypass setting for a more transparent experience. Plus, the Drive control has been reworked for lower gain applications or hotter basses.

Most importantly, the BETA-V sports an active 2-band post gain EQ allowing you to boost or cut your highs and lows with a flat response in the centre. Dialling in anything from punchy overdriven Lemmy tones to the fattest, deepest soul shaking dub is only a few knob twists away. Complete with top-mounted jacks, soft touch true bypass switching and 9-18 V DC operations, the BETA-V is a true thump machine, ready to rock your world.

It contains 2 tubes, one NOS EF86 for the preamp section and one 6J1P (6ak5) for the buffer output. It is an all tube Preamp.

It runs on a 9V power supply (center positive) - and operate internally at 35volts. Furthermore, it produces a warm, rich, and full-bodied sound, and can capture both the softest and loudest sounds with great accuracy and clarity.

Pushed a little too far, it can produce pleasing harmonic distortions and warm saturations. The two volume knobs control the level of each stage.

Notes: The ZIO Analog Bass Preamp + DI is an ultra-low noise, all-analogue preamp and DI for bass guitar. The pedal offers maximum headroom and a simple but flexible set of tone shaping controls. ZIO Bass can be used as a direct input using the balanced XLR output for connection to a mixer or audio interface as well as with headphones through its dedicated headphone jack.

The ZIO Bass features a simple control panel. The OUTPUT knob offers +12db of additional boost plus a significant amount of cut. The BASS and FOCUS controls work best in tandem - use the BASS knob to increase low-end output and the FOCUS knob (which adjusts the cut-off point of a high-pass filter) to eliminated excessive lows and create added punch. The TREBLE knob boosts or cuts the high frequencies, providing enhanced articulation without adding harshness.

The GRIT toggle enables a mild distortion to mimic the transformer-style breakup from high-end bass amps. GRIT mode's gain level can be adjusted for more or less distortion with the GAIN control located on the side of the pedal. The SCOOP toggle engages a special midrange cut to clean up "muddy" mid-range frequencies. The SCOOP profile is based on the "Pultec Trick" - a setting commonly used with vintage Pultec Equalizers to add clarity.

The pedal has three outputs that can be used individually or simultaneously. The OUTPUT jack connects to an amplifier or pedalboard.

The DIRECT OUT is a balanced XLR output that sounds great running into a mixer or audio interface for recording or live sound applications. The HEADPHONE jack features a high dynamic range, low noise amplifier that is capable of driving low impedance studio headphones.
