Review: Anarchy in the UK arriving just in time for the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend, for the first time in more than two decades, 20 of the rawest, roughest and most igniting tracks from the Sex Pistols circa 1976, 1977, and 1978 are collected on one release, reminding everyone of just how potent, original, and uncompromising the outfit were when they exploded onto the scene.

Of course, most of these tunes are going to be very familiar to many people, and that's precisely the reason why we're more than pleased to see them continue to be re-released. Simply put, tracks like 'I Wanna Be More', 'Holidays In The Sun', 'Pretty Vacant' and that version of 'C'Mon Everybody' are stone cold punk classics that arguably have never been bettered. Here they are together again at last. 'God Save the Queen' indeed.

Review: Running to four discs packed with historic material and a handful of previously unheard recordings, '76-'77 chronicles the story of the Sex Pistols' earliest studio sessions. It begins at the very start of their adventure, with tracks taken from their first recording session, with producer Chris Spedding, in May 1976, and culminates with a full re-master of the band's legendary 1977 bootleg LP, Spunk. In between you'll find a wealth of demos, out-takes, alternate versions and instrumental takes, all of which showcase the anger, intensity and musical vigour of a band on the cusp of breaking through into the national consciousness.
