Review: Original soundtrack for Past Lives, featuring an original score by Christopher Bear and Daniel Rossen, as well as the original song 'Quiet Eyes' by Sharon Van Etten. One of the foremost romantic films of the 2020s so far, Past Lives is set in Seoul, SK, and follows two beloved childhood friends over the course of 24 years; detailing the personal trials, love triangles and vagaries that inevitably stem from a romance torn apart in childhood and brought back together again in adulthood. Bear and Rossen's soundtrack is pressed on cloud white vinyl, with original paintings by renowned artist Na Kim.
Review: Ben Salisbury and Geoff Barrow's soundtrack for the 2024 thriller drama Civil War is a triumph of atmospheric soundscaping. Known for their work on Ex Machina, the duo brings their signature touch to this film, blending ambient synths with subtle guitar to create an immersive auditory experience. The score, perfectly complements the film's intense narrative and striking visuals. Tracks like 'Body Pit' deliver a haunting, dissonant edge, while 'Flashback,' 'Aftermath,' and 'Moving Out' offer a poignant, minimalist theme that subtly underscores the emotional journey of the characters. The music's simplicity and repetitive motifs evoke a powerful sense of place and mood, making it an essential companion to the film's story. Now available on vinyl for the first time, this score is for fans of the innovative film music and those who appreciate Salisbury and Barrow's evocative style.

Review: Son Lux grew from Ryan Lott's solo project into a fully-fledged band with Ian Chang and Rafiq Bhatia, and their star has steadily ascended from indie hip-hop territory to creating this Oscar-nominated soundtrack for one of the most talked-about films of the past year. It's a sure sign Son Lux are in the premier league now, and following the release of the soundtrack comes the official score, presented across four extended suites taking up whole sides of vinyl. This limited gatefold black and white pressing of the album gives the striking sonics the release they deserve.
