Review: A warm welcome back to Cisco Cisco, who return to the loving arms of Barcelona-based Apersonal Music after a nine-year absence. The Portuguese pair hit the ground running with 'Why Can't It Be You', a storming and surging slab of Italo-disco-influenced dub disco hedonism marked out by echo-laden horn, string and vocal samples, jaunty pianos and restless bass. Crazy P man Ron Basejam remixes, leaning further into the track's electronic disco influences in search of peak-time perfection. Over on the reverse, we get two takes on 'The Heat' - the band's organic dub disco take and a more spaced-out, Afro-cosmic interpretation by Rayko - and bumpin' deep house number 'Under The Bridge'.
