Hexinverter Galilean Moons Module
Hexinverter Galilean Moons Module (eurorack digital/envelope generator/function generator/synth voice/VCA/dual & stereo module)
Cat: 655340 Rel: 31 Jul 17

Dual VCAs + super snappy function generators (envelopes, LFOs, etc.)
Notes: Galilean Moons is a dual amplitude transmutator. It transmutates the amplitude of incoming signals through the use of voltage controlled envelopes and VCAs. It is designed primarily to create voltage controlled percussive sounds when fed with a sound source (in particular, its sister module, Jupiter Storm), but can be used for all sorts of other tasks in your modular system as well as to generate typical synth sounds.

Galilean Moons features two "Moons". Each Moon is composed of a voltage controlled attack/decay envelope with its own dedicated low-distortion linear VCA. Each envelope can also act as attack/sustain/release or can go into LFO/automatic looping mode with the flick of a switch.

Galilean Moons will normalise its VCA inputs to a Jupiter Storm cosmic noise oscillator through a simple expansion cable at the back, but it can also function standalone in any modular system. Of course, the new Jupiter Storm noise output, "XOR", which is activated by connecting a Galilean Moons to your Jupiter Storm, will not function without a Jupiter Storm. This is the only feature which requires a Jupiter Storm to be connected.

The XOR noise output sounds similar to (but not exactly like) Jupiter Storm with the Noise Core Disruptor is engaged. This allows you to get more flavours of noise from Jupiter Storm, expanding its versatility.

The VCAs and voltage controlled envelopes can each be used on their own in your system when you don't want to use them the way they are internally linked together. Plugging a signal into any of the respective jacks will break the internal connections and let you use the components on their own. You can use the linear, DC-coupled VCAs to control DC signals in your system when not using the module for its intended use, for example.

Hexinverter Jupiter Storm Module
Hexinverter Jupiter Storm Module (eurorack drum/noise/oscillator module)
Cat: 655339 Rel: 31 Jul 17

Cosmic noise oscillator (VCO)
Notes: Jupiter Storm is a cosmic noise oscillator. It creates sounds that can only be described as out of this world! Where it differs entirely from other pure white noise generators (such as vcNOIZ) is in the algorithm used to produce the sound. Jupiter Storm has a tonal character very much of its own.

Jupiter Storm generates its sound from three square wave oscillators, interacting with one another in a unique algorithm. Some of the sounds possible are reminiscent of the sound of an AM radio being blasted with noise from the cosmos. This creates noise with significant harmonic content and unique timbres!

With the Noise Core Disruptor engaged, part of the noise core is creatively abused in order to generate insane sonic textures.

Voltage control inputs for all three square waves which energize the noise core are available as well as a CV input that addresses all three oscillators at once. In this way, very dynamic sounds can be achieved with complex modulation routing. For example, you can apply a taste of LFO modulation to all three oscillators, while modulating a select oscillator simultaneously on its own with something more drastic.

No microcontrollers are present in the design of this analog module.

Hexinverter Mindphaser Analogue Dual Oscillator Module
Cat: 975739 Rel: 08 Nov 23

Next generation complex dual oscillator module - 30HP
Notes: Building on the familiar dual VCO core arrangement of Carrier and Modulator, Mindphaser is a complex oscillator which departs from this bit of ancestral DNA with a modern toolkit focused on searing, phase-modulated leads, percussive basslines and other-worldly effects!

A diverse palette of intermodulation and harmonic experimentation is offered through the Modulation Bus, its unique Waveshaper and the dedicated Thru-zero Phase Modulation Bus. An intuitive interface provides colour-coded visual feedback and responsive indication while performing in dimly-lit environments.

Two precision analogue oscillator cores

Precision, wide-range V/oct ramp cores, each ranging from deep subsonic to supersonic frequencies (ramp cores, and not triangular, deliver the ideal waveforms for analogue phase accumulation in the TZ-PM Bus)
Each core generates fundamental waveshapes which interact and mangle one-another through the complex Modulation Bus and TZ-PM bus
Simultaneous waveform outputs for each base shape
Dedicated button to toggle between RAMP or SAW for each core, inverting the phase of the ramp output
V/oct, linear FM and exponential FM inputs which are all independent of the TZ-PM functionality. The Carrier's FM occurs inside the core itself, separate from the TZ-PM bus.
DC-coupled linear FM

Carrier

The heartbeat of Mindphaser, focused on audio-rate generation. Drives the WAVESHAPER and TZ-PM bus. This core's frequency range spans the audible spectrum.

- An external hard SYNC IN forcibly resets the core, useful for punchy sequences, percussive basslines and drum synthesis -- or to sync to another VCO.

- Coarse and fine controls conveniently span the audible spectrum. Ranges further with external CV.

Modulator

An extremely wide range oscillator, spanning from deep LFO frequencies all the way up to supersonic sound! Four base waveforms and diverse internal routing options form a versatile palette of modulations for the CARRIER to feed on.

- Activating hard SYNC on the Modulator locks its core to the Carrier's heartbeat. The effect can be dramatic. Try this while phase modulating!

- Octave RANGE switch lets you quickly flick up and down between octaves. All the way beyond audio-rate and LFO speed octaves. Perfect for experimenting with different PM sidebands and taming the wide frequency range of the Modulator.

- Manual PW (Pulse Width) control and dedicated CV input for PWM.

Waveshaper

This isn't a classic waveshaper! Developed anew from the ground up, this waveshaper is focused on deep harmonic experimentation and audio obliteration. Each waveshaper parameter is capable of being "turned up to 11".

FOLD up to 5 octaves above the fundamental Carrier frequency. A ceiling forms at maximum, imparting additional harmonics.

FEEDBACK the waveshaped and phase-modulated audio through a signal path internal to the waveshaper.

AMPLITUDE modulation spans thru-zero, allowing for full-range ring modulation effects with bipolar CV or audio signals.

CLIP the final stage of amplitude with the switch to introduce a last stage of harmonics before the complex signal exits through the final OUT.

Switchable inverting attenuators on each CV input, for quickly inverting the behaviour of your modulation. The indicator illuminates red to tell you the attenuator has been inverted.

Two distinct waveshaping modes

A press of the shape switch toggles Mindphaser between RAMPOID (green) and TRIANGULAR (yellow) waveshaping modes.

These modes have a remarkable effect on the behaviour of wavefolding and overall character of the final complex OUT, in addition to TZ-PM Bus character.

RAMPOID mode folds more asymmetrically, with raucous, buzzing harmonic artefacts as you sweep and introduce TZ-PM

TRIANGULAR mode folds more symmetric, splitting the complex sine wave at its peak centre of the waveform. TZ-PM character is less raucous, and more smooth.

TZ-PM Bus

Thru-zero phase modulation in the ANALOGUE realm! Unlike its digital counterpart, analogue TZ-PM has its own character we've come to expect from analogue circuitry!

A dedicated, voltage-controlled phase modulation bus completely separate from the Mod Bus
Modulator's SINE wave normalled to the PM SOURCE input
SOURCE input allows you to modulate phase with any signal you patch in
Dedicated voltage-controlled INDEX (amount)
Manual phase lets you zero in (or not!) on the base phase before introducing modulation
Independent of the Linear FM circuitry in the Carrier core

Mod Bus

The internal modulation powerhouse, normally fed by the Modulator core, but external signals are patchable as well.

Select from the PULSE, RAMP/SAW or SINE output of the MODULATOR, or inject your own SOURCE to the bus.

Voltage-controlled INDEX behaves like a macro control when combined with various amounts and polarities dialled in at each CV destination.

Internal sends include the Carrier's classic Linear FM, Amplitude, Feedback and TZ-PM Index, with variable amounts and polarities!

Modulator waveforms internally feeding the Mod Bus behave unipolarly, for predictable modulation of every Mod Bus destination, without external patching. By patching in one of the Modulator's bipolar waveform outputs manually (or any external signal), you can override this behaviour.

Hexinverter Mutant Bassdrum Module
Hexinverter Mutant Bassdrum Module (eurorack drum module)
Cat: 655336 Rel: 31 Jul 17

808-inspired analog bassdrum synthesizer with distorted (CV-able) and clean outputs.
Notes: Like all modules in the "Mutant Drums" series, the bassdrum takes a reverend circuitry and mutates it. In this case it is an 808 BD expanded by a pitch parameter, voltage control of pitch and decay as well as a proper voltage controlled distortion you can use independently for other sounds like a synth lead.

The Tone potentiometer controls, as in the original 808, the timbre of the bassdrum. The decay parameter allows for generating snappy short to very long bassdrums and goes up to self-oscillation. The range of the pitch parameter is very wide, it ranges from sub audio to frequencies suitable for tom sounds. The pitch can be voltage controlled in addition; although the input is not 1V/octave you can still play basslines easily.

The bassdrum is played after having received an impulse at the Trig input. Accenting the sound is possible due to the accent input. An LED indicates when the bassdrum is played.

The bass drum sound is internally routed to the distortion input and is available in its distorted version at the Dist output. As there's an audio input as well, you can distort any sound you desire. Both input level and amount of distortion are adjustable, the latter one is voltage controllable. Distortion activity is visualized with an LED.

Hexinverter Mutant BD9 Analog Bassdrum Synthesis & Sub Oscillator Module (B-STOCK)
Cat: 677171 Rel: 31 Jul 17

B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order***

Not just another clone or continuation of the 808-esque, acid-style kicks of the Mutant Bassdrum - the Mutant BD9 seeks to explore uncharted bassdrum territory by having an integrated sub-oscillator for maximal auditory obliteration.

Parametric bassdrum synthesis offers creative control of the core sound:
- The primary analog VCO offers classic 909-esque sinusoidal bassdrums, but can also be switched to generate a square wave bassdrum
- The PITCH of the VCO spans several octaves, from about 30Hz to 240Hz, and can be modulated with voltage control
- A novel PITCH DECAY circuit allows you to adjust the duration and AMOUNT of the pitch-modulation envelope applied to the bassdrum, from short blips to exaggerated tom-like sweeps
- The AMPLITUDE DECAY allows adjustment of the length of the bassdrum, from short punchy kicks to massive booms. This parameter is voltage-controlled with a snappy CV response time, allowing you to modulate the duration of your kicks per step.
- The CLICK generator is responsible for the attack intensity of the BD9. A fair amount of circuitry goes into creating this subtle punch at the beginning of the kick. The level of this effect is adjustable up to a fairly dramatic extremity.
- The overall timbre of the BD9 varies with the DRIVE control from warm, analog bassdrums at low settings to speaker-shattering overdriven sounds at high settings. Output levels are modular-level signals, unlike many classic line-level percussive devices.

Still not heavy enough? Try the sub-oscillator:
- A square wave sub-oscillator derived from the primary oscillator's pitch can be mixed in (manually and with voltage control) to the BD9. The effect can be subtle deepness or extreme timbre changes.
- A jumper on the back of the module allows you to select between the sub-osc being a raw square wave or having some of the high frequency components removed with a lowpass filter.
- At high OUTPUT DRIVE and SUB LVL combinations, the sub-oscillator can be modulated with CV to saturate the BD9 output in evolving ways.
- The SUB OCT can be set to 0, -1 or -2 octaves down from the primary oscillator. A drop of 0 means that you can mix an equal-pitch square wave with a sinusoidal primary wave.

Designed for the contemporary modular synthesizer:
- Plenty of Eurorack-compatible control voltage inputs with bipolar attenuverters allow synthesis of dynamic percussion
- A practical analog trigger circuit allows activation of the BD9 from many signal sources (anything with a positive-going edge lasting 2ms or longer). Most electronic drum pads can also directly trigger the Mutant BD9.
- An accent input accepts analog voltage control (0 to 5V will fully modulate the volume from low to high)

Hexinverter Mutant Hot Glue 4-Channel Mixer Module With Effects & Compressor (edition noire)
Cat: 1014462 Rel: 23 Apr 24

4-channel mxer module with effects send, hi-fidelity analogue compressor & voltage controlled analogue distortion - 24HP
Notes: Really neat stuff from Hexinverter. Designed with synth sounds and drum processing in mind, the Hot Glue is a unique twist on a four-channel mixer, helping to integrate effects and voltage-controlled distortion alongside built-in bus compression.

Supplier's Notes:
The Mutant Hot Glue is a versatile bus mixer for analogue effects chain design. The included analogue compressor offers series or parallel compression and a sidechain input, making it particularly well suited to drum processing. The voltage controlled distortion is based on ideas borrowed from the guitar pedals responsible for a lot of yesterday's acid style techno sounds, but improved over the guitar equivalents, and made specifically for synthesizer and drum processing. The distortion can be used in its default position, normalized to the effects send, or like every other part of the module, broken out and used elsewhere in your modular system.

Features

4 Channel Mixer with Effects Send

4 input channels, each with their own level and effects send control
Channel A mixer bypass switch and dedicated output for easy sidechain compression
Channel B is dual input, but shares level/send controls (for dual output modules, like the Mutant Hihats)
Channel C+D summed output
Main mixer output normalized to compressor input

Hi-Fidelity Analogue Compressor

Soft-knee compressor based on the same family of premium audio ICs used in some 500 Series studio gear
Dedicated threshold and compression ratio controls
Gain control dials in up to +40dB of compressor make-up gain
Compressor sidechain input for creating pumping effects
LED indicator actively displays the amount of compressor gain reduction

Voltage Controlled Analogue Distortion

A classic distortion topology reborn for modular analogue synthesizers and drum processing
In/Outputs are conveniently normalized to the module's send and return jacks
Blend control lets you adjust the mix of distorted and clean input signal
Fast responding CV input allows for complex modulation patterns and even modulating with audio signals

By default, the 4 channel mixer's output conveniently feeds into the compressor's input, giving access to easy New York style parallel compression by way of the compressor blend control. The dedicated output and mixer bypass switch for channel A allow you to use it as a sidechain source for the compressor. An effects send and return allow you to create complex effects routings within your modular system. With the number of excellent DSP and other effects modules on the market today, this makes it easy to combine modules to great effect, all within the eurorack modular domain.

Redesigned by Erica Synths in close collaboration with Hexinverter. Minor alterations were made in mechanical assembly and digital controls to address Erica synths manufacturing routines and chip shortages, but the analogue signal path is 100% identical to the original version.

In September 2022 Stacy Gaudreau - the founder of Hexinverter Electronique, announced closing down the operations. Following their announcement, Erica Synths in cooperation with Hexinverter Electronique saw a way for their incredible and truly unique music instruments to keep on inspiring musicians and finding a home in countless studios to come.
The effort and innovation incorporated in Hexinverter Electronique eurorack modules are far too great to prematurely become history. Erica Synths will take over the manufacturing, sales, and support of several Hexinverter Electronique modules. While retaining all functionality of Hexinverter Electronique modules, Erica Synths redesigned the hardware of modules and will provide support for reissue modules only.

Hexinverter Mutant Machine Analogue Percussion Module
Hexinverter Mutant Machine Analogue Percussion Module (drum/clock generator/envelope generator/noise/oscillator/synth voice module)
Cat: 995966 Rel: 06 Feb 24

Analogue percussion module - 22HP
Notes: A unique analogue percussion module, based on principles from the legendary 909 twisted into new sonic territory. Capable of everything from classic kicks and snares to more experimental hits and complex VCO effects.

Supplier's Notes:
A machine is born

The Machine began as a quest to create a rich-sounding eurorack snare drum synthesis module to complement the existing Mutant Drums. The project quickly became too large and costly to justify the module being capable only of snare drum sounds. So, the decision was made to learn from the architecture of the TR-909's snare and kick circuits, in order to develop a module capable of generating multiple forms of analogue percussion, and various other effects.

Like the other Mutant Drums, the Machine has its roots in classic analogue percussion synthesis. Even though it can create totally alien sounds, it still has the capability to deliver those classic 909 house snares and kicks if you want them. There are no microcontrollers in the Machine. The signals and waveforms are all generated by discrete components and ICs, for a distinctly analogue sound, and user experience.

Features

Notes: *** B-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order ***

A unique analogue percussion module, based on principles from the legendary 909 twisted into new sonic territory.

Hexinverter Mutant Machine Dynamic Analog Percussion Synthesis Engine Module
Cat: 655333 Rel: 31 Jul 17

Dynamic & versatile analog percussion engine - 29HP
Notes: The Mutant Machine is a dynamic analog instrument capable of generating a wide palette of sounds, ranging from various forms of analog percussion to complex drones and oscillations. To achieve this, the Machine features two synthesis sections which are summed together at the final output: MEMBRANE and SNAPPY. Like the other Mutant Drums, the MEMBRANE and SNAPPY circuits began their mutation as classic analog percussion techniques and have been reimagined for 21st century modular synthesis.

The MEMBRANE forms the main body of the sound by way of two analog VCOs, and the SNAPPY section further adds to the timbre by contributing noisy elements to the mix. A noisy CLICK which occurs at the beginning of the SNAPPY sound can have its volume adjusted independent of the main decaying SNAPPY texture.

The waveforms which make up the MEMBRANE can be selected manually by button press, or the WAVESCANNER can be used to automatically scan through the available analog waveforms. By modulating the frequency through which waves are scanned, unique, complex sounds are created.

Experimentation is encouraged by the many modulation inputs and outputs available to you. The Machine features 8 CV and gate inputs for modulation as well as two external audio inputs, for bringing other modules into the Machine's core. There are many audio outputs for maximum versatility, allowing you to use the Machine to create drones and alien timbres for use elsewhere in the modular analog system.

Hexinverter Mutant Rimshot Analogue Rimshot & Clave Generator Module
Cat: 1038654 Rel: 29 Aug 24

Analogue rimshot & clave generator module - 8HP
Notes: The Mutant Rimshot is a fully analogue rimshot and clave generator inspired by the rimshot found in the legendary 909 drum machine; a triple bridged-T oscillator coupled with a state variable filter. The clave sound (not a feature of the original 909 rimshot) is achieved by using just one of the oscillators.

Features

Three oscillator modes

Rimshot HI mode brings classic rimshot sounds
Rimshot LO gives a lower pitch range; try playing with the filter on this setting to get low tom and kickdrum sounds.
CLV (Clave) mode uses just one of the oscillators to give you a brighter, higher percussive sound.
A switch on the back lets you select between original and extended pitch modes. Original mode can give you rimshots exactly modelling that of classic machines (in Hi mode), whereas extended mode gives a wider range of pitch, at the expense of classic accuracy.

Three filter modes

Use the lowpass or highpass filter modes for classic sounding rimshots
Highpass and bandpass can give a wider range of clave and rimshot sounds, as well as completely different percussive elements (especially when turning the resonance up!)
VCF IN lets you blend the clave or rimshot with other sounds. Try adding some filtered noise for a more acoustic sounding rimshot, or for pseudo-snare type sounds.

Novel decay and filter mod controls

The MOD DECAY envelope controls the decay of the VCA envelope
The VCF MOD attenuverter allows you to modulate the filter cutoff with the MOD DECAY envelope
Alternatively, a switch on the back lets you modulate the filter cutoff with the pitch-controlled internal VCO, for filter FM style percussive hits.

Hexinverter Mutant Rimshot Module
Hexinverter Mutant Rimshot Module (eurorack drum/filter module)
Cat: 655314 Rel: 31 Jul 17

Analogue rimshot/clave generator with external input.
Notes: The Mutant Rimshot is an analog rimshot and clave percussion synthesis module inspired by analog drum machines of the past. Like the other Mutant Drums, the Rimshot is capable of going above and beyond vanilla sounds. Expressive CV options, an external input and a multi-mode analog filter let you create unique percussion sounds in your modular synthesizer.

Rimshot or clave - take your pick:
- Triple-oscillator analog rimshot core inspired by the legendary 909
- Three modes of percussion synthesis: rimshot HI (classic), rimshot LO and clave (CLV)
- Voltage control of one of the oscillators' pitch
- External input to the filter lets you blend in other signal sources - wavetables and noise make for interesting percussion!
- Rimshot DRIVE control acts as a volume and overdrive control for the rimshot generator

Coupled to an analog multi-mode filter:
- Bandpass, highpass and lowpass modes
- Self-oscillation of the filter plays nicely when mixed in with the rimshot generator
- Resonance clipping enabled by default. Feature can be disabled with a switch on the back of the module
- Voltage controlled cutoff
- Adjustable resonance

Modulation options sculpt the shape of your percussion:
- Eurorack-compatible control voltage inputs (0 to 5V for full modulation) with bipolar attenuverters
- A practical analog trigger circuit allows activation of the Rimshot from many signal sources (anything with a positive-going edge lasting 2ms or longer). Most electronic drum pads can also directly trigger the Mutant Rimshot.
- An accent input accepts analog voltage control (0 to 5V will fully modulate the volume from low to high)

Hexinverter Mutant Snare Noire Module
Hexinverter Mutant Snare Noire Module (eurorack drum/noise module)
Cat: 655329 Rel: 31 Jul 17

Analogue snare synthesis reminiscent of the 808, with external input.
Notes: From classic electro snares to warping, alien percussion, the Mutant Snare is a radical departure from the static sounds of the 808!

MIX and DRIVE:
- MIX lets you blend between the SHELL and SNAPPY tones that make up the overall snare drum
- Turn up the DRIVE to get overdriven snare tones with intense harmonics. The purple LED indicates when the snare begins to overdrive
- Like the other Mutant Drums, signal levels have been normalized for modular level input and output (up to 20Vpp)

SHELL synthesizes the drum skins:
- Analog bridged-t sinewave oscillators, for those organic-sounding tones we've come to love from the 808
- TONE control blends between the two sinewaves of different frequency
- SHELL PITCH lets you tune one of the sine waves, to change the pitch of your snare drum

SNAPPY adds some noise to the snare:
- An analog white noise generator feeds the SNAPPY circuit
- An external input lets you patch any sound source you like into the SNAPPY generator
- Voltage control of SNAPPY decay
- SNAPPY feeds into an analog selectable high-pass or band-pass filter
- Voltage control of filter cutoff frequency
- When nothing is plugged into the cutoff CV input, the SNAPPY envelope OR the adjustable sinewave from the SHELL generator normalize through the CV attenuverter for cutoff CV. A jumper on the back of the module allows you to select which of these internal modulation signals are routed here
- Filter has three resonance settings: classic 808 (low resonance), high resonance, and self oscillation
- Bipolar attenuators (aka: 'attenuverters') on CV inputs

Hexinverter Red Dragon Soviet Topology Four Pole Morphing Low Pass Filter Module
Cat: 655338 Rel: 31 Jul 17

4-pole morphing low-pass filter module with unique Soviet-era filter core design - 12HP
Notes: The Red Dragon is a 24dB/oct 4-pole low-pass filter realised with a unique Soviet-era filter core. The curious filter structure of the Red Dragon favours character over precision; sure to impart colourful tone in your source material.

During the 1980's, a Russian electronics designer realised that one could build a musical filter using a fairly unconventional method. Unlike most other filter topologies, this method did not use capacitors to employ an RC time constant in its core filter stages. Instead, the internal properties of a programmable amplifier chip are modulated by a special "programming" input found on these devices. One of the modified properties is bandwidth of the amplifier. Changing this particular attribute over time effectively limits the frequencies that can pass through the amplifier, resulting in filtering!

Because attributes other than bandwidth are also changing at the same time, this filter stage has instabilities at certain frequencies along the audible spectrum, resulting in colourful distortions and a character all of its own. The resonance's character is especially profound, resulting in bubbly and sometimes screeching sci-fi tones. The Red Dragon achieves a 24dB/oct resonant low-pass response by cascading four of these stages. What's more, you can morph between the two pole extremes (6dB and 24dB) to change the slope of the filter on the fly, either manually or through voltage control.

Hexinverter VCNO Discrete Voltage Controlled Multiple Output Noise Oscillator Module
Cat: 655341 Rel: 01 Aug 17

Discrete voltage controlled noise oscillator with multiple outputs
Notes: VCNO is a noise oscillator, capable of producing full spectrum white noise. But that's where its similarity to other noise generators stops. VCNO can be used like a VCO - you can modulate the pitch over CV and use its multiple outputs simultaneously, each with a distinct sonic character. Its method of generating noise is similar to that used in early computer sound chips, except it has been implemented here using discrete logic, without the use of software or microcontrollers.

Featuring:

Discrete Noise Algorithm:
- LFSR (Linear Feedback Shift Register) algorithm implemented using discrete analog parts and logic ICs - no software or microcontrollers
- PITCH generator capable of frequencies up to half a megahertz. This results in a spectrum of noise which reaches far beyond that of human-hearing
- NOISE is the main LFSR output. With the pitch knob turned fully clockwise this will output pure white noise. As you turn the pitch down, the noise evolves into crunchy noise, reminiscent of vintage video game sounds
- GATE is a DC-coupled output. This is perfect for supplying random triggers in your system

Three Unique Alternative Outputs:
- Each of the three alternative outputs are completely different circuits - SCREECH, SIZZLE AND TEAR have their own unique sonic characteristics
- SCREECH features a dark, howling overtone to the main NOISE output
- SIZZLE features a related control, which takes the output from pure white noise when turned fully clockwise to a vinyl-like crackle when turned anti-clockwise
- TEAR sounds like the noise generator is broken and tearing itself apart
- All outputs work simultaneously, and are simultaneously affected by the pitch knob or CV

PITCH Input:
- The frequency of VCNO can be modulated via CV - just patch any CV signal into this jack
- A bipolar attenuverter lets you find the right level and polarity for your CV signal
- A switch on the back lets you select either logarithmic or linear response at the CV input jack

CLOCK Input:
- Applying a clock signal here bypasses the internal PITCH frequency generator. You can apply a clock from a trigger sequencer to create a pseudorandom drum trigger pattern synced to the rest of your drums
