Review: The Purple Print family welcomes Loopdeville for a four-track exploration of late-night minimal and tech that is big on atmosphere. 'Insomniac 300' pairs rubbery, juddery drums and loopy synths with watery droplets for a nice heady start. 'Trippy Tits' is an afterparty classic in the mould of early Villalobos and 'Dig Bicks' layers dubby undercurrents with swirling, smudged vocal sounds for more zoned out 5 am sessions. Last but not least, 'Where Witches Find Peace' taps into the Melchior school of minimalism with its frictionless drum loops and deft aesthetic touch, all soon to hypnotise.

Review: Although unlucky for some, this 13th outing from Purple Print is another doozy for lovers of minimal and tech house. It's Lemieux at the controls for four cuts of well worked dance floor dynamite. opening up is the deft, loopy, trippy sound of 'Put It Out' which is from the Villalobos school of minimalism. 'Jah' picks up the pace and is a deft, dubby sound with fizzy pads and clipped vocals adding the details. 'Back In The Day' layers up silky pads, vocoder vocals and underlapping bass into a sweeping minimal sound and last of all, 'I Leave' shuts down with a playful minimal dub sound and paranoid vocals.

Review: Vinyl only record label Purple Print mark an impressive selection with 'Lanao Izany', a fresh EP from the Hungarian artist Daniel Meister, whose snappily produced but well-balanced mixes help bring a reinvigorating freshness to the easily mishandled world of minimal tech. We're not sure what "lazao Izany" means, but the track *is* zany: unmistakable synth santoor and crying vocals make for a mournfully mobile mix on the A track. Meanwhile, 'Delight' and 'Different Places' continue to goosebump us with low bandwidth static SFX and relentlessly snappy hits.

Review: Returning to Purple Print after contributing one to their second V/A, 'Dreaming In A Shell', Zenk links arms with Ted Amber for a new, formative four-track release. 'Nairobi Market' and its corresponding remix by Amber retread an apparent recent jaunt to Kenya, where a fantastical, mercantile mirage is said to have informed on the cyborg textures you hear here. 'Juicy Breakfast' takes and uses the dried viands bought on said market, amounting to a nice morning metal repast of nuts, bolts, and gluons: fatty acids, rivet potpourri, slippery background sound design. 'Memesis' titularly invokes the goddess of divine retribution but reduces her to an edible meme, as restless, posthuman vocalisations are heard to mutter and chirrup between snap-up beats.
