Pulled from ELO's classic patch through the 70s, Eldorado captures the symphonic Brummie behemoth at its most bombastic. The fourth studio album from the band was released in 1974, and marks the first concept album from Jeff Lynne who conceived the storyline before writing any music. Following the fantasy journey of a protagonist escaping his mundane reality, the album travels far and wide through grandiose orchestral compositions, but it's got plenty of those rousing pop moments ELO are best loved for, not least 'Boy Blue'. Enjoy this limited, high end pressing and savour one of the great groups of the 70s during their breakthrough years.
