Eric B & Rakim's Paid in Full album from 1987 was jam packed with heat. It's still a landmark album all these years later and Mr Bongo know that, so serve up a special 7" with one of its most well known tunes, 'I Know You Got Soul.' It's got all that old school flavour - the scratches, cut up vocals, singing break beats and super cool vocal delivery. Of course, Bobby Byrd samples feature heavily and helped make this one an artistic and commercial success, with everyone from Rolling Stone to NME counting it in their respective Greatest Songs Ever lists.
