While Fantastic Man's material has been in and out of our shelves since 2011, it was this year's LP for Paris' Antinote that really grabbed our attention. "Rhythm Algorithm" for Superconscious follows a similarly wacked-out vision of house, and the title track itself is a stunning bullet made of ricocheting percussion and spectral melodies. "Trance Sexual" is a bumping, Chicago-leaning house banger that'll mix like perfection into just about anything, whereas "Fittin' & Turnin' (All Day)" is deconstructed by comparison, a hypnotic and highly frenetic sort of house jacker that rings and twists frantically from start to finish.
