Swap White LTD is among the first batch of new labels to come through Juno Records this January and they introduce themselves with a self-titled four-track, four artist EP. Redj's "Open For Desirer", with its synths and progressive arpeggios is a suitable lead track, while Servietzki's "Kartoshka" takes off where the latter left, carving out some deep and minimally driven tech house music. Ghini-B provides the EP's highlight with something a little more heads down, as a loose groove swings syncopated in a bed of hazy static. It's Jerome Caproni that then completes the debut EP with an electro-y, techno-y sounding production with the same type of percussion you'd expect from Perc, or an early UK dubstep record.
