By now, Tommy Jr Vicari has accumulated an impressive number of releases on his catalogue, and we were taken aback when seeing that his first EP dates back to 2004, the days when house was turning into minimal, but also when the true house heads were still active and punishing dance floors with their love. In this vein, you could say that "Horizot" is a true house tune, through and through, and Vicari's heavy beats are mashed up with a hip hop sensibility, and some funky melodies. "Mic Ang" is bumpier, more playful, and breaks its groove down into a stop-start motion, while "D&E" goes deeper, lower and strips everything down to a placid mood.
