Here's a record that screams The White Isle at you! Ibizan imprint Isgud call on two producers synonymous with the island in the shape of Willie Graff and Tucillo for their latest release. The duo has plenty of form - collaborating on releases for the likes of Drumpoet Community, Freerange and Circus - and "To The Music" makes you pine for the terrace as soon as that tribal programming locks in. The focus is on the percussion here, with only the bassline and a titular vocal refrain washing around the mix for company. On the flip Jus Ed's mate DJ QU comes through with a radical rework that strips the track of its tribal leanings for a bugged out techno funk feel that truly impresses. In such company the more straight up jacking flex from Isgud boss Tatu seems somewhat lacking.
