Gamechanger Audio is a Latvian company committed to exploring the uncharted territories of music electronics and creating devices that provide real value while stretching the imagination of both musicians and engineers. In their Plasma Pedal they managed to combine Tesla coil with a lots of Rock and Roll and the result is one of the worlds heaviest sounds with plenty of unique features and the potential to become the new standard of distortion.

Similar to the Plasma Pedal, Plasma Drive gives you a new and previously unexplored method of achieving signal clipping in 16HP. Instead of using LED circuits, transistors or vacuum tubes to produce overdrive, the Plasma Drive boosts audio signal to 3000V and transforms it into a series of continuous high-voltage discharges in a xenon-filled tube. In essence - you are playing a lightning bolt of electricity, and the electrical discharges produced by your instrument are instantly converted back into an analogue audio signal, producing a quick, responsive, and extremely heavy distortion with tons of unique character!

The Eurorack module Plasma Drive brings sounds of the Plasma Pedal to the next level. As per Eurorack standards we added CV control over distortion level and dry/wet mix, as well as octave up and 1 and 2 octaves down tracking oscillators that add even more harmonics to the original signal. Tracking oscillators can be switched on/off manually or via trigger signals. The Plasma Drive module is powered via conventional Eurorack PSU ribbon cable and the power consumption is around 150mA.

Notes: Erica Synths MIDI to Trigger module lets you control your drum modules and trigger events on your modular from any MIDI sequencer!

If you want to use a MIDI sequencer to trigger events on your modular synthesizer (e.g. using the hexinverter.net Mutant drums range or Tiptop Audio classical drum modules or envelope generators to control VCAs), Erica Synths MIDI to Trigger module is just what you need, it converts ANY MIDI notes to eight 10ms Trigger signals.

When designing the module, Erica Synths put usability as priority; it will take you seconds to program the module. It works with any MIDI sequencer & controller so there is no need to change MIDI controller settings, instead, you reprogram the module.

Notes: Erica Synths 8 channel Sequential Switch is a unique module that allows you to sequence up to eight sound sources in advanced ways or route one sound source sequentially to eight different sound modifiers - VCFs, waveshapers, VCAs, etc.

Erica Synths Sequential Switch (SS) has unique control interface that allows you to pause, skip and merge steps and set sequence length, but what really sets it apart from other sequential switches is Gate output - when used with ADSR and VCA, you get a really powerful sequencer with real time control over each sound source in the sequence. Use Sequential Switch with random clock source and you get a heart of insane random, self-generating patches!

Notes: Erica Synths Sequential Switch CV Expander turns the Sequential Switch into a powerful CV/Gate sequencer, it connects to the Sequential Switch via ribbon cable supplied with a module.

CV Expander doesn't require a power supply, it draws power from the Sequential Switch. Refer to the picture below on how to connect both modules! Sequential Switch CV Expander is connected to the Sequential Switch via IN/OUT jack switching lugs, which means that if you patch something into IN/OUT jack, the relevant input gets disconnected from the CV Expander. If you use SS with CV Expander connected to sequence sound sources, make sure, you skip all steps that are not used (no patch cables connected)! If you do not do that, the DC from the CV Expander will get into the audio path and you will hear an undesired click.

Notes: Performance oriented Sample Drum brings you two independent drum sounds or loops with plenty of manual and CV controlled parameters. Samples are stored on the microSD card, and OLED screen makes working with samples instant and easy.

Sample Drum allows you to slice up loops directly in your modular system and rearrange them to taste. For processing, there are tuning functions (including 1 v/octave pitch tracking) and virtual VCAs plus AD envelopes. Thanks to the module's dual-channel concept, two loops can be combined. It is also possible to load one-shot samples instead of entire rhythms, of course. A total of six CV inputs guarantees lively results.

Sample Drum is composed of two identical audio players. WAV files (including cue points) are fed to the module via a micro SD card. Loops can be cut into several sections using the Data, Start and End potentiometers. The resulting slices may be played back in any order imaginable. A tune control allows real-time pitch changes. Additionally, there is a virtual VCA plus AD envelope per slice. - But that's not all! There are three CV inputs per channel, which can be routed to any parameters. It is even possible to play sounds according to the 1 v / octave standard. Results are emitted via one output per player.

Notes: If you decide to use rack ears to mount Erica Synths 84HP enclosure in the studio rack, you may want to access the PSU connection from the front of the case, instead of the top. The 4HP PSU connection module is the solution. PSU Input module is intended to be used with external PSUs which provide an output voltage from +9V to +12V ("+" in the centre).

For two row Eurorack enclosures (2x84HP), use a small screwdriver to disconnect the existing PSU connector from the blue terminal and connect the PSU connector module as shown on the photo.

Pico System III brings modular synthesis back to the basics - the system has multi functional (instead of single-function, like Pico Drums or Pico Trigger in the Pico System II) analogue modules and is intended to encourage creativity in modular patching.

The system has 31 inputs and 20 outputs (master output is duplicated) + 7 switches; if you have enough patch cables at your disposal, you can patch the system in 121000931215044250740178662400 or 1.21x1029 variations (we ignored the possibility to adjust potentiometers here). Erica Pico Noise is a versatile noise and percussion sounds source. It consists of white a noise generator, a resonant VCF to generate various colours of the noise - from extremely dark ones to high pitched resonant sweeps and a VCA/decay envelope generator combination to create range of percussion sounds to emulate hi-hats, cymbals and even sine tone-based percussion, when the resonance is full up.

Notes: Those, who own Moog Mother 32 know, that it requires -5V - +5V on 1V/oct input to operate in full range, while the eurorack standard is 0V - +10V. So, to control Moog Mother 32 from a eurorack sequencer you need to bias a sequencer output for 5 volts down. And vice versa, Moog Mother 32 sequencer outputs -5V - +5V on 1V/oct output, and, if you wish to control some eurorack VCO from Moog Mother 32, you need to bias it 5 volts up. This is exactly what MSCALE does: it has two sections, upper one adds 5V to the input voltage, other subtracts 5V form the input voltage.

Of course, the module is not limited for use with Moog Mother 32 only. You can use it as a regular eurorack precision voltage scaler.

It boosts external signal to modular synth signal level.

With the Pico Input, line signals from, for example, a synthesizer, drum-computer, audio interface or smartphone can be raised to modular level. The module delivers up to 40 dB of gain. Thanks to its two channels, users can comfortably process mono as well as stereo material.

The Pico Input comes equipped with two signal paths. Each signal path features an audio input, a volume potentiometer and an output. Up to 40 dB of amplification are available. Using jumpers on the circuit board, it is possible to dampen the maximum gain to 20 dB. The module's first input is a stereo jack, meaning the user can connect a smartphone or tablet without any adapter cables. In this case, incoming signals are distributed internally to both channels.

Notes: Pico EF is Erica Synths' take on envelope follower module in 3hp! Pico EF features a preamp with +40dB gain (enough to boost even guitar and dynamic microphone signals for use in a modular system), envelope output with adjustable attack time and a gate output with adjustable threshold. Notes: Erica Synths Modulator is an advanced modulation and pitched noise source with focus on rhythmic (but not limited to) compositions in mind. It features two identical syncable to the BPM LFOs/noise sources with selectable morphing waveshapes.
