The A-side opens with 'Africa Inna (dub)', a slow-burning cut that feels steeped in roots but shaped for modern ears. It moves with purpose, grounded by a heavy low-end and rich, rolling chord echoes that seem to stretch out into the distance. There's a real sense of space here, the kind of low-slung groove that pulls you in. Turn to the other side and 'Dub Poetry' takes things a step further. The mix is full of texture, with sharp details and unusual elements tossed into the fog. It feels deliberate but loose, like the track is breathing in its own rhythm. The echo is everywhere, bouncing around a spoken word message that leans into the deeper side of life. There's a clear vision running through both tracks, nodding to tradition while still carving out something personal. Dub is the foundation, but the perspective feels fresh and alive.
