Notes: It's all about the things you connect to the The Field Kit! To get you started, Koma Elektronik have decided to offer an Expansion Pack with a bunch of different sources that you can use and connect to create your own signature sounds.

The Expansion Pack contains:

- 2 x Contact Microphones: Use these contact microphones to pick up vibration or sound, they are an amazing versatile input source
- 1 x Electro-Magnetic Pickup: This guy is good at picking up changes in magnetic fields, you can use it to amplify a string like a guitar pickup or amplify a spinning motor

The new KOMA Elektronik Field Kit is the perfect tool for everyone who would like to experiment with electro acoustic sound. Use everyday objects, amplify them and use them to make sound, like our heroes John Cage and David Tudor used to do!

The Field Kit is optimized to process signals from microphones, contact microphones, electromagnetic pickups and able to run DC motors and solenoids. On top of that it can receive radio signals and convert signals from switches and sensors into control voltage!

Notes: Expander module for the Tetrapad, Intellijel's multi-dimensional performance touch controller. Adds huge functionality, allowing you to sequence parameters and create complex modulation.

Tete is the long awaited and highly anticipated expander for the Tetrapad.

Some of the key features:

Three primary modes: VOLTAGES, NOTES and COMBO.

VOLTAGES mode:

Up to 16 voltage storage locations (grid) with 8 voltages stored at each location.

You have the choice to record and playback your recall of these locations in a looper style (just play freely and spend arbitrary amount of time at any location) or as a clocked sequence (SH-101 style). Additionally you can traverse the matrix using the X and Y CV inputs to get Cartesian style sequencing.

There is also variable slew that allows you to morph/glide between the values.

NOTES mode:

You can create sequences or loops in chord, scales or keyboard mode. The isomorphic keyboard grid can vary from 4 notes to 12 notes max. There are real-time performance looping, transposition and inversion capabilities via the CV inputs and dedicated loop button. In sequencer mode each step can be a tie, rest, or gate with size 25/50/75%. Basically we have created a way to very quickly and intuitively make chord sequences that are very musical and easy to manipulate. It is difficult to summarize in words but we will be sure to create some videos to demonstrate how easy and fun this is to play with. It definitely represents something unique in the landscape of Eurorack sequencers.

COMBO mode:

In this mode you can loop record your performance on any combination of the following functions:

fader, bipolar fader, drum hit, switch or LFO. Kind of like Elektron style parameter locking but all of the motions is recorded continuously instead of just in slices. Instantly turn a simple patch into a highly animated and complex beast.

With all of the above mentioned loop recording modes you can very easily overdub since the Tetrapad detects pressure/pressing. In combo mode you can erase individual channels.

All modes allow for internal or external clocking and configurable syncing.

All of the modes have special XYZ CV modulation assignments and make use of the dedicated CV outputs.

For example, in Looper mode one of the CV outputs generates a continuous ramp that represents the position in the loop. This can be used with devices like the Planar 2 in Interpolation mode to sync the recorded patterns together no matter what tempo.

Notes: Voltera is an expander for the Metron trigger and gate sequencer, adding 4 bipolar voltage tracks. Up to 16 Volteras can be connected to a Metron, providing up to 64 CV outputs.

With independent voltage ranges and quantisation settings per track, Voltera allows simultaneous real-time control of 4 different parameters, so you can set the track to the parameter you are sequencing.

When used in conjunction with Voltera, it is possible to easily sequence melodies and parameters with the Metron.

Notes: Originally designed for the Metropolix 1.4 MIDI update, the USB Extender extends the USB Micro connector on the back of a module, bringing it to the front panel for easy connection to your USB Host.

The 3U panel, includes a dual passive mult, which is great for splitting output signals to other modules. You can swap the panel with a Phillips-head screwdriver. The 1U panel does not have mults.

Also included is a 60CM Right-Angle Micro USB to Micro USB cable for routing the connection beneath the modules.

This module comes with a custom USB cable that connects on the back of the module to the Metropolix. The product comes with both 3U and 1U faceplates so you have the option to use it in either space.

Notes: Morcom Expander for micro Turing Machine (Alan)

An expander for After Later's Alan module (a smaller version of the Turing Machine) that exposes the pulse outputs from the main Alan module. You get 7 seven random outputs and then 4 that are derived from other 7 outputs. When 1 and 2 are high then the 1+2 outputs is high. You can get some great rhythmic effects using these in conjunction with the main stepped CV output.

The module comes with the required cable to connect to the main module. The panel is designed to compliment Alan, After Later's micro version of the Turing Machine.

The module comes with a 1 year warranty.

ALM034-EX

PPEXP1 & PPEXP2 are two expander modules for Pamela's PRO Workout that both offer additional dedicated fixed clock, Din Sync & MIDI clock outputs.

Extend Pam as a master to clock external gear with super solid dedicated MIDI & Din Sync clock outputs. The Din Sync clock (x24) and Run outputs can also be patched into a 2nd Pam to easily sync it.

Use the extra fixed clocked gate outputs to free up Pam's main outputs for unique sequencing or complex modulation duties.

Connects directly to and is powered by the 'MIDI-EX' expander header on rear of Pamela's PRO Workout.

Only a single output expander is supported at any time but either can be used alongside an AXON-1 CV input expander.

A MIDI adapter cable and a Din Sync adapter cable are both available for connecting to 5 pin 'Din' type connectors. The PPEXP 1 includes a MIDI Din adapter cable.

Notes: An expander module for Rossum's powerhouse Assimil8or sampler module, the Locutus provides MIDI in, out and thru connections over 5-pin DIN sockets, letting you take full control of the module alongside other MIDI gear.

Notes: Creatively inspiring business from Xaoc as usual. The Erfurt is a digital phase accumulator, digital oscillator, binary counter or clock/audio frequency divider. Versatile stuff.

Xaoc Devices Erfurt is a digital module that may be used as an 8-output clock and audio frequency divider, a bi-directional binary counter, or a component of the Leibniz binary system, i.e. a programmable digital oscillator.

Erfurt features an 8-bit register which holds its current state: an 8-bit number representing digital values from 0 to 255. The state is available at the front panel via eight binary (5V gate) outputs and reflected by the 8 status LEDs. There are three clock inputs: one incrementing the state at each impulse, one decrementing, and one resetting the state to zero. The state may also be changed manually with two buttons.

When operating alone, the state of Erfurt changes by 1 at each impulse from the clock inputs, so that it counts from 0 to 255 in a cycle (modulo 256). This yields the signal frequency divided by 2, 4, 8, etc. up to 128, available at individual bit outputs. Depending on which clock input is used, the clock patterns correspond to the so called mathematical or musical divisions of the rhythm.

With two different clocks patched to the inputs, the counter alternately increases and decreases its state, and ultimately it counts with a rate proportional to the frequency difference between the clocks. A third clock patched to the Reset input may be used to shorten the sequence thus making the cycle incomplete for even more rhythmic diversity.

When there is a Leibniz data source connected at the back (even as simple as Lipsk), the state increases or decreases in larger steps, depending on the data present at the Leibniz bus (eg. the value programmed by the Lipsk buttons). The counter overflows quicker, and produces more complex patterns.

The state of the counter may be used as a phase input to a digital wave table. Connected to other Leibniz modules, Erfurt may play various roles, eg. it may scan waveshapes in Jena, produce stepped voltages useful for making interesting glissandi with Drezno and any VCO, generate gate patterns animating the spectrum of Odessa harmonic banks, spawn pseudo-chaotic sequences when fed back to Lipsk, etc. Since Erfurt is based on CMOS logic (no CPU!), it can be clocked at very high frequencies (exceeding audio rate), therefore some selection switches are provided for clock pre-scaling.

AXON-1 is a 4HP expander module for the SQUID SALMPLE that provides 4 additional freely assignable CV inputs.

The addition of AXON-1 brings Squid's total number of CV inputs to 7, greatly increasing the possibilities for vast modular sample manipulation.

Each modulation assignment includes digital attenuation and offset and behaves just like Squid's 3 built in CV inputs.

AXON-1 requires firmware 166 or later installed on the Squid Salmple to function!

Notes: The mmT is an optional 3HP expander which connects directly to the expand socket on the rear of the mmMidi using supplied cable.
It maps the third configured MIDI channel key presses to corresponding trigger/gate outputs as shown on the mmT front panel.

Notes: Updated expander module for the Moskwa II sequencer. The Ostankino adds additional connectivity to the Moskwa II, allowing CV control of most parameters, plus extra outputs.

Notes: AXON-2 is an 8HP expander module for the SQUID SALMPLE, MFX and Pamela's PRO Workout that like the AXON-1 provides 4 additional freely assignable CV inputs but additionally adds manual offset controls and 2 additional 'performance' buttons.

The addition of AXON-2 increases the Squid, MFX or Pam PRO's total number of CV inputs by 4, greatly increasing the possibilities for vast modular manipulation. Each of the CV inputs includes an offset for hands on control over parameters assigned to CV. Per assignment digital attenuation and offset via the host module is also available for fine tuning the modulation or control over parameters.

The AXON-2's large buttons are great for controlling select functions in a live performance environment or adding convenient quick navigation shortcuts when making edits. The buttons functionality and assignability are dependent on the host module. See respective manuals for details.

NOTE: AXON-2 support requires the latest firmware be installed for Pam Pro (120 or newer), Squid (187 or newer) and MFX (105 or newer).

Notes: Lipsk facilitates the inversion of the individual bits produced by Drezno (or any other module connected to its input header at the back), and delivers the resulting code to its output header. Bit inversion can be manually controlled by pressing any of combination of its eight illuminated buttons, or it can be automated by patching gate signals into its gate input sockets. An active (5V) gate flips the state of the respective bit. If the button is active (bit already flipped), then the gate flips the bit again yielding double inversion (no inversion). The corresponding LEDs show the combined effect of both manual and gate actions. The bit processing logic is hardware-based, so there is virtually no latency, allowing the binary signals to be manipulated at extreme rates.

Notes: Enigma Expander for micro Turing Machine (Alan)

An expander for After Later's Alan module (a smaller version of the Turing Machine) that enables you to manipulate the stepped CV sequence. This enables you to create a different, yet related sequence to the main Alan output.

The module comes with the required cable to connect to the main module. Our black and gold panel is designed to complement Alan, Aftter Later's micro version of the Turing Machine.

Notes: Gate Expander for Sweet Sixteen mkII.

This is an expander, brings 8 gate inputs for the Sweet Sixteen mkII.

The panel is reversible, so jacks & buttons can be in the left or right side.

The orientation of the 10 pin ribbon cable is marked by the 'do not plug power here!' legend on the PCB, so it could be with the red stripe facing that in both GESS and Sweet Sixteen mkII modules.

Notes: Add external feedback loops, tilt filters and more to the Timiszoara effects module with this versatile expander. A must-have for Timiszoara owners.

Deva is an expander for Xaoc Devices' Timiszoara multi-fx module designed for creative exploration of the dirty/nasty side of signal processing. Deva opens up the Timiszoara programs you've come to love with some unexpected twists and turns along the way. The analog side features two external feedback loops (for the left and right channel) with tilt filters adjustable via sliders with two additional switches for choosing positive or negative feedback (for each channel). The third slider controls the DAC clock - from overclocking by a factor of two down to 16-times slower, so you can go from chipmunk to hardcore teeth gnashing of underclocked goodness. A switch allows for turning the clock control off for normal/regular operation. All features have inputs for external CV.

Notes: Erica Syths Black VC EG Expander takes the Black VC EG to the next level - it outputs gates or CVs for each active stage of the envelope so you can design some really advanced patches. Inverted and bipolar envelope outputs are also available.

Erica Black series are high-end modules with unique functionality. Only the highest quality components are used and all inputs and outputs are protected against undesired overvoltage. When designing the Black Series, we did not economise on the module width, we put design and usability first. Big knobs are assigned to functions that make difference in sound. Together the Erica Black series are a range of modules that make an entire synthesizer.

NB: This expander module can be connected only to the Black VC EG. It will not work as a standalone eurorack module.

Notes: Nice dual-module gate/envelope generator which can run off any audio signal. Feed it drums, synths, samples or a mic input and and generate CV modulation signals.

The Percussion Interface (PI) and PI Expander are a pair of Eurorack modules that generate gates and envelopes from acoustic drums, samplers, drum machines, and virtually any audio source.

Converting microphone, instrument, line and modular signals into CV and clock/gate signals, the PI and PI Expander are suited for synchronizing sequencers or other modules to the rhythm of an audio track or live percussion. The modules can simultaneously be used as a pre-amp for microphones or line-level signals, while generating inverted envelopes useful for side-chaining. The PI module contains all the core functionality and can be used without the Expander to conserve space. The Expander requires the main PI modules and adds three gain stage options, a modular-level audio output jack, a 1/4" (6.35mm) input jack, and envelope attenuation capabilities. Notes: Welcome to the DROID X7 expander. The X7 gives you USB and MIDI connectivity for your master and also four gate outputs with modular levels.

You can process incoming and generate outgoing MIDI streams, both via classical DIN cables and via USB. Both the in and the out direction support polyphony with eight or even more voices in parallel.

For size reasons the X7 uses 3.5 mm TRS jacks for MIDI instead of the classical DIN jacks. But it comes with two DIN to TRS adapters, so you are free to use either form factor.

As a bonus feature, the X7 provides super fast loading of DROID patches via USB - without any need for putting the SD card in and out anymore.

Here are some examples of what you can do with the X7:

Attach an external keyboard to your modular.
Use an external hardware sequencer for playing melodies and beats in your modular.
Use an external MIDI controller to influence your DROID patch.
Do the same with a MIDI controller app on your tablet or phone (via USB).
Use your modular for playing polyphonic music and beats on your hardware synths or software synth plugins in your DAW, tablet or phone.
Connect two DROIDs (both with X7) and exchange real time CVs and triggers.
Use the four additional gate outputs on the X7 for sending clocks, gates and triggers and free your valuable CV outputs for other things.
Access the SD card in your master just like a USB stick for direct access to it via your PC, Mac, phone or tablet.
Alternatively load new patches to your master via MIDI sysex from your PC - and get your new patch ideas up and running in less than a second.

Notes: Polydactyl Versio is Noise Engineering's take on a multiband dynamics processor. Polydactyl Versio is equally at home on single-instrument timbral processing and on end-of-chain gloss. Taking inspiration from Noise Engineering's Librae Legio, Polydactyl Versio applies a unique and transparent algorithm across three bands for maximal dynamic impact. Add in a multiband saturation knob and noise gate, throw in a limiter, and you have a processor that gives ultimate control of color and dynamics.

Polydactyl Versio is part of the Versio family: this platform module can be transformed into a completely different effect by loading a growing number of alternate firmwares, completely free! Plus, with open-source support and documentation at LibDaisy, you can write your own firmware. Grab a Polydactyl Versio and process your signal into submission or total rebellion with three separate bands, saturation, limiting, and noise gating.

Notes: Channel extender for MIXCONSOLE.

This module extends the MIXCONSOLE module with three additional channels; the channel level can be controlled via CV here, too. If no CV is attached, the level knob works as usual volume control.

Notes: Convenient Connections

Use this module to tap into the 3-pin LINK connector used in several Intellijel products, including Mixup, Pedal I/O and the Palette and 2nd Generation Audio Jacks Board in a 7U case.

The XY I/O uses two 3.5mm TRS jacks, which accept insert cables to provide send/return capability to a pair of Pedal I/O's, or additional stereo inputs (or outputs) to a pair of Mixups, or one of each.

A third 3-pin Link connector on the back panel allows the X and Y jacks to access the L/R (or Send/Return) jacks on a single connected module or case without needing a stereo cable.

Notes: Part of Xaoc's range of modular mixing tools, the Bohumin 1966 is a commander module for Ostrawa stereo mixer modules, adding a second stereo aux bus, voltage control and manual attenuators with clickless mutes

Bohumin [bo'xumin] is an expander for Xoac Deives' Ostrawa full stereo mixer module. By connecting to Bohumin, Ostrawa gains a second full stereo AUX bus with voltage control over the amount of the effect on each channel. Bohumin features manual attenuators for stereo returns of both AUX A and AUX B, as well as four gate inputs for automated clickless muting of each stereo input channel. Please note that Bohumin is not compatible with Ostrawa's sister module Praga. Similarly, Praga's expander Hrad cannot be connected to Ostrawa. However it is possible to chain any combination of Ostrawas and Pragas, and each of them may have its corresponding expander attached.

Generates sound based on equations converted to analog signals , there are sixteen equations selected by Up and Down switches. Four LEDs indicate equation number in binary mode. Three Pots modify numbers used by the equation, A0 , A1 and A2 , fourth pot Sample Rate controls pitch and speed of the oscillation. There's an Output Level pot for the oscillator and a dedicated jack for patching the Oscillator sound to external modules .

Hold toggle switches select between fast decay, long decay and hold mode, for the touch trigger input. There are CV inputs for pitch on these two oscillators

Osc 2 and 4 -Wavetable oscillators

Digital oscillators, touch controlled or gate controlled by gate jacks, pitch is controlled by pitch pot, modulation by LFO A or LFO B and cv inputs.

A0 pot selects waveform, A1 pot morphs between two waveforms.

There are individual output jacks.

Notes: The MIXCONSOLE JACKOUT is an extension for the MIXCONSOLE with 1/4" (6.5mm) jack sockets for master left/right output and for the FX send and returns - all via mono sockets (unbalanced). This avoids the need for separate adapter cables.

The module is connected via a small internal connection cable to the right of the MIXCONSOLE or as neighbour of the MIXCONSOLE XLROUT module.

Notes: Unlock the potential of the Quad LFO with the LFO Phase Expander. Each expander gives you three outputs that duplicate the LFO with a fixed phase difference. The first ranges from 0- to 180-, the second from 90- to 270-, and the last from 180- to 360-. Along with the original output, this gives you four phases of modulation. These are easily tuneable to quadrature (all knobs centred), but also any arbitrary phase relationship. You can attach up to four expanders, one for each LFO, giving you up to sixteen modulation sources.

A multiphase LFO is extremely useful for building rhythmic modulations, particularly when paired with analogue logic, such as provided by Babel. Further, regardless of the waveform selected on the Quad LFO, the output of the Phase Expander is always a sine wave. This gives you the useful possibility of having three rhythmically related phases of an LFO synced to a clock signal.

Other than rhythmic modulations, the most common use of a multiphase sine LFO is in creating panning and crossfade controls that sound correct using only one or more VCAs. This is useful in panning sounds back and forth, rotating a sound in quadraphonic space, creating Shepard tones, etc.

Even when you don't have a specific need for exact phase relationships, a multiphase LFO gives you a convenient way to expand your palette of potential modulators, adding three related but distinct waves.

All the inputs I are equipped with LED meters and a dedicated attenuating potentiometer.

T is an additional transient detector out that will fire only when a certain threshold is detected from the sum of all the inputs.

The toggle switch activates or deactivate the internal connection to Tutto&Sempre when the two modules are paired together thanks to the included JST cable.
