The music is unmistakably real with loved-up strings, hefty drums and smart samples all making it jump out of the speakers and straight into your heart. 'Same Old Story' is a loopy and loved-up gem, 'Swing' is raw, heavy and lit up with characterful horns, 'Get It' wraps r&b vocals into a low-slung groove and 'Sticks & Stones' is a lo-fi and soul house jam that echoes Moodymann's best. This is emotional raw, steamy, sweat-inducing tackle.
