No Boundaries (5:10)
Creature (5:36)
Upon The Ground (5:55)
Reverse (6:11)
Review: Pearl's Hand Over Fist on Falling Ethics Records delivers a powerful techno experience, full of intensity and raw energy. The opening track, 'No Boundaries,' is a menacing roller with a transformer-like sound, blending alien and tribal elements into a relentless groove. It's a track that commands attention from the first beat. 'Creature' follows with a faster, hypnotic groove that remains minimal yet gripping, drawing you into its rhythm. On Side-2, 'Upon The Ground' ups the ante with a harder, tension-filled track that builds drama and keeps the listener on edge. Finally, 'Reverse' closes the record with minimal, underground percussive sounds, perfectly encapsulating the darker side of techno. Hand Over Fist is a standout release for those who appreciate intense, no-nonsense techno with a strong underground vibe.

Waveform Reversal (5:54)
Organised Confusion (5:32)
Way Back (6:00)
Review: Huzzah! The usually superb Falling Ethics is finally back with more music. This new 12" is their first release since 2019 and it is, we're told, here to "offer up a new vision within the label's background." It comes from label owner P.E.A.R.L. who does not muck about and offers up some future-proof techno from the off. These are proudly mechanical sounds with silver metallic textures, well-constructed rhythms and increasing about of synth intensity as the EP progresses. We like the scuzzy synths and well-swung drums of 'Waveform Reversal' but all of these are high class, to be honest.

What Can You Do (5:25)
If So Then (5:27)
Over & (5:37)
Hold The Door Please (4:48)
Review: Berlin-based Nastia Reigel contributed a track to one of this label's various artists releases last year but now steps up with a full EP that is all her own. It is a fine chance for her to show her skills and that she does: 'What Can You Do' has a unique mix of hammering sounds, hulking great kicks and textural smears that are all dirty and industrial yet funky. 'If So Then' is totally different - a stripped back, deep, linear techno roller, while 'Over &' is weighty, loopy dub with a raw 90s aesthetic. 'Hold The Door Please' is another one built from well-designed loops that is sure to rattle the walls of any warehouse with its monster kicks and glitchy FX.

PEARL - "Others Steal Hope" (5:39)

Not A Headliner - "La Caida" (4:51)
Nobark - "Sismado" (5:40)
Chloe Lula - "Peril" (dance edit) (5:34)
Review: Falling Ethics has been rolling out the techno since forming back in 2013 and now marks its 11th anniversary with a special limited-edition double vinyl compilation. This selection of sound features tracks from acclaimed artists and longtime associates next to fresh new school stars. Oscar Mulero is someone who shows his class with 'Crash & Burn', a deep, percussive, loopy cut with menacing bass. Not A Headliner strips it back for the rickety and dubby techno of 'La Caida' and Chloe Lula's 'Peril' brings a moody vocal edge amongst many other killer cuts.
