Notes: Stereo Strip takes the idea of a channel strip and makes it modular. By bringing this long-established component of the audio engineering world into the Eurorack environment and by adding CV control over its key parameters, you will find new, creative ways to use it in your patches!

It features stereo inputs and outputs for audio or CV with EQ, voltage controlled panning, stereo VCA, performable mute and input/output level switching for Eurorack or line level uses. Abusing the input level switching allows for some musical, modulate-able and highly shapeable distortion sounds too.

Stereo Strip was designed to be a creative part of a modular patch. Creating stereo images from mono sources, shaping and modulating existing stereo images, synthesising stereo pseudo ring modulation, sweetening FX with EQ or drastically wave shaping your oscillators, creating send FX routings with benefits or it can simply be used as a channel strip at the end of chain in a patch.

The addition of line level gain boosting (for the input) or reduction (for the output) allow it to work as a stereo input or output interface for external gear with the advantage of the VCA, panning and the EQ to shape the sound. Experiment with bringing external gear into the Eurorack format and then shape and modulate those sounds them on the way in!

Try patching Stereo Strip anywhere you would place a VCA in a system and/or explore its EQ and voltage controlled panning, which are rarer additions to the sound sculpting options for the Eurorack format.

Notes: The Golden Master from Endorphin.es is a multi-band processor that takes inspiration from studio mastering and radio loudness units from the 1990s. It gives control over the EQ, compression, and mid/side processing of incoming audio.

Notes: Excellent value here. Analogue filterbanks tend to be pricy affairs but Erica's Resonant FB gives you all that creative control of dynamic equalisation with the convenience of digital control.

The Graphic Resonant Filterbank (FB) is a ten-band analogue filterbank with digital control over each bands' boost or cut. Each band can be controlled individually via CV or manually, while complex control configurations turn the filterbank into an unconventional multimode filter and even an instrument in its own right when played with various resonance settings. The Expander module (works exclusively with the Graphic Resonant Filterbank and is available separately) provides hands-on adjustment of boost and cut for all bands.

Notes: This Expander module provides hands-on adjustment over all bands' boost and cut without the need to select bands via pushbuttons on the Graphic Resonant Filterbank module. This makes sound design with the Graphic Resonant Filterbank much easier.

Notes: TriTone is a three section EQ plus saturator. Inner knobs control frequency and outer knobs control +- gain. All these sections Hi Shelf, Band Pass and Low Shelf are having + 20 db of gain and 30 db of reduction. Each section can work independently or they can be serially connected by the switches. Middle input in each section accepts CV for its frequency, so all three sections can be individually FMed by the external CVs.

If the inputs are fed with the modular level signals (+- 5V), then there is little room for "plus" EQ gains before saturation starts. In this case the input level should be attenuated first, if saturation is not desired and much "plus" gain is needed. Otherwise saturation drastically enriches the tone and the module works like very flexible overdrive FX.

When the switches are set to upper positions, then all three sections work independently. With the maximum gain reduction (CCW position) of the upper section (Hi Shelf) it becomes a useful kind of Low Pass filter. On the contrary - maximum gain reductions of the lower section (Low Shelf) makes it a High Pass filter.

Please note the internal routing done by the switches: the output of the uppers section is added to the input of the subsequent lower section. If nothing is connection to this lower sections' input, then only the upper section's output is processed. This makes it a 3 band EQ with the switches set to lower position. Notes: KR is based off of the concept of a guitar tonestack: you get a gnarly drive on the top and a super clean two-band shelving EQ with switchable midpoint after that. There are separate ins and outs, too, so if you want to EQ a thing and distort the other thing at the same time you can!

Kith Ruina's inspiration comes from the world of guitar amps. A drive into an EQ is an extremely common configuration for shaping guitar tone, and we find that it works extremely well for synths as well. Notes: The FILTERBANK914 is designed after the famous Moog 914 Fixed Filterbank. It includes 12 bandpass filters with fixed center frequencies and additionally a lowpass- and a highpass filter. Control knobs for all the frequency bands allow individual mixing of the bands. This is especially useful for shaping the sound spectrum similar to acoustic instruments - they get their character by certain frequency peaks, so called "formants".

This module is different to (and not a good choice as) a multiband equalizer. The equalizer can increase/decrease certain bands in the range of e.g. -12...+12dB, with the signal unchanged with all controls in center position. In contrast, the FILTERBANK914 controls are attenuators over the full level, meaning the individual band is completely muted when the knob is turned completely counter-clockwise.

As a special feature, the module has separate outputs for "even" and "odd" bands, meaning that one output only contains the sum of half the bandpasses, the other one the remaining ones. This leads to some type of "pseudo stereo".

Notes: Three-band isolator with stereo inputs and outputs, splitting the signal into highs, mids and lows then allowing you to control level and frequency via CV for some clever sound sculpting and modulation.

Supplier's Notes:
Katowice is a stereo variable-band isolator that allows the user to manipulate a selected range of frequencies. It is the first module in a series of upcoming Xaoc Devices products designed specifically for processing stereo signals.

Katowice splits the stereo input signal into three bands: low, middle, and high. While the knobs and CV inputs define the center frequency and bandwidth of the mid band, the low and high bands are automatically adjusted so that the sum of all three is a complete signal. All three bands are passed through high quality VCAs and their stereo outputs are available separately for further processing. A stereo mixdown signal is also available.

Katowice may be used as a crossover network, a parametric EQ, DJ-style kill filter, or other band-selective applications, including multiband compression and stereo enhancement.
